breeding my sour bubble with subcool genetics

hey. i'm not that big of a member on these forums, but i just came on here to ask you a question sub.

i've grown a lot of your main strains. querkle, jtr, vortex, spacejill, space bomb, and the flav. found a keeper in almost every pheno. found a querkle pheno that was so covered in trics it was scary. a sativa leaning vortex that was so fucking good. had tiny bomb. and a good hazy jtr.

unfortunately i lost all of your genetics when i moved out west to a med state, and i haven't had the money to go searching for my old moms. i really miss my special querkle and vortex moms.

anywayyy. here is to the point of the post. i have been growing out west for a while now, and i am gaining a bigger genetic pool than i used to have. i especially like my sour bubble mom from b.o.g. took me a couple packs to find her, but she is surely special. i also have a few more packs to find more phenos and get some good males.

the sour bubble pheno i have is def. on the indica side, and i have been wanting a special hybrid for my garden. i'm just wondering what strain you think is best to add to my sour bubble to add a nice balance of sativa. i really love the sativa leaning pheno of vortex, and i am considering going with that. i am also considering the apollo 13 bx because i want more sativa leaning phenos. is the apollo bx a true breeder?

any great advice would be appreciated.

I have been breeding TGA genetics for almost four years now. I actual started out using his genetics to simply stabilize mine. As most already know, subs genetics are serious top notch. I dont believe I need to sell his product here, however I can not say enough about sub. I have found that as far as genetics go, I have had ungodly success using spacejill, space bomb, querkle, and vortex. I have breed TGA genetics to other TGA genetics in order to achieve certian qualities and traits I was looking for. Once I had finish my cross breeding and I had achieved a new interbred TGA genetics, I took that genetics and breed them to my male genetics. The rest is smoke to the dome!!

For me the choice is easy but know that the ECSD that made up the sour bubble has some latent herm traits that might show in this generation.
Vortex has a great mix of pungent and sweet that will work well and the cross is very stable meaning its going to do most of the selection work for you. All you need to do is get familiar with A-13 and Space queen which you can do my reading my threads on em and then select a male based on my male selection thread which we owe to Shanti and DJ but its been but into a readable form with pics on that thread so you will understand that were looking for the male that would not pass on his genes in the wild as thats the natural order of things you have to intervene and pull that last to show sex where the drug traits seem to gather in.

I thought sour bubble was a bx of a certain pheno found in a pack of white lable bubblegum, I've never heard that Sour Diesel was in the mix. Every description I used to see when BOG was still around was:

Sour Bubble - [WL Bubblegum X WL Bubblegum] X [WL Bubblegum X WL Bubblegum].

But I've also see people say it was WL Bubblegum x ?Kush.

You probably know better than me though thats just the first I've ever heard of ECSD being in their.

stoned is correct as far as i know. i'm an active member on icmag, and i have heard the same lineage. it doesn't have a hint of ecsd in it (i have rez sd ibl, so i'd know if there was). it does however remind me very much of bubba kush.

and B.O.G. is still around...he posts on ic.

I highly doubt that BOG is really on ICMag. Gypsy was the one who ripped him off and got him pissed enough to stop supplying seeds in the first place. I'd say it's just Gypsy taking advantage of his name and gear to sell seeds. If BOG was around you would probably be able to get his gear through other vendors like you could back in the day. It's just too funny how NO ONE else has BOG's gear.

I'd agree that Bog is not on ICmag again I have no solid facts but Gypsy did take him for ride, the last time I spoke to him he was semi retired growing weed legally in Cali and doing some book tours.

i got 20 vortex and 10 spacejill seeds in my fridge. i really want to try the apollo bx as it is one of the only strains i haven't tried by you, and you are always raving about a13. i figure i can find an a13 dom vortex male though? true?

just wondering, but why aren't you allowed on icmag? i think it's pretty much even if you mention tga/subcool they delete your thread. the censorship on icmag is ridiculous..one of the things i hate..

Just think about it. Gypsy makes F2's of BOG gear and BOG quits the seed biz. Now BOG magically appears back on ICMag the place that ripped him off and nowhere else not to mention all the new crosses. Tell me that doesn't sound shady.

yeah it sounds a bit shady, and i hope it isn't true. you gotta figure though. differences can be resolved. money can make people love or hate eachother...who knows.

I"m just saying it's reasonable to think if BOG was doing his thing his gear would be available at other places.
