Breeding question

I've heard with a few years of time that a strain can be bred to finish and be ready to harvest a couple weeks earlier than how it used to be or other strains that take longer times to harvest. Please explain how a Gro-Bro can breed a strain to finish early? I would genuinely appreciate any experienced grower/breeder insight on this as im just curious.

Many Generations of selecting shorter flowering time mothers that keep the yeild and potiency. I would assume any real breeder has reached this threshold for you and further reduction of flower time does not help the end result. Best of luck

Some genetics will ripen sooner than others. This is nothing to do with a particular breeder it's all about the strains that are being crossed and morphology of plants from seed.

I once flipped a bubba's gift from i think barneys and it had milky trichomes after 45 days from 12/12 flip. I still let them go a bit longer but I mean it'd get ya high at 45 days lol..

It’s all about plant selection, what you chose for a father and how you pick plants for future generations. If you want quick start with an autoflower as a male and work it.
