British Petroleum and The Oil Leak in the Gulf of Mexico...

It's too late now, the damage is done. I saw the Governor of Louisiana stick a stake in the marsh water and pull up 6 inches of sludge on CNN. All the life in the marsh begins in that water, once its gone its gone. This really is bad, and I don't thing people understand that yet. I just hope they get it sealed.

yeah ive seen the slick on the tv and agree its already a done deal. what gets me is why no one has developed some chemical compound that absorbs oil but not water

If BP, the government and the people care enough about their own fate, we'll make that fucking patch damnit. I hope so at least for the sake of humanity and the planet.

I think sealing the well would be the smartest plan right now. They have ways to clean up most of the oil. But think about this, it's been what? 20-30 yrs since the Exxon Valdez? Believe it or not you can still turn rocks over in that bay and find oil. So no matter how much we clean, it's still there.

back to the oil.

I work with a kurdish fella who told me when saddam burnt the oil wells in iraq for months whenever it rained they had black oily rain. if they dont sort out this spill soon enough its all going round into the atmosphere
