Fuck man, I've broken literally all my downstems either by stepping on them or knocking over a piece and it shattering in the pipe.

Dude my fucking pipes... Every single one is broken. Within a month at least! Its never just me breaking it though its a combination of me and/ or just someone else breaking it. Perhaps the most sad one that I even remember partially is poopsikkkenz 
Poor poopsikkkenz. Me and my friend walked into the same door at the same time (him holding my pipe) And then it was ripped out of his hands by the forces of dxm, and pulled to the ground, shattering into a bazillion pieces..

it's hard to make "again".
seems a lot of the stuff i make is "one-of-a-kind". i go back and try to make another one and most the time they don't come out right. i can easily spend an hour or two working on a big marble.

the only pipe i ever broke was my sidecar that i bought in like 1996.
never broke a downstem or a bowl or a chillum or anything but that one sidecar.

are they more fragile or are they hard as a marble.

yeah i understand about going back to try to re make it and it just wont turn the same lol.
they should be as hard as a marble. some colors may not handle being deeply encased and they may crack though. it's kinda hit or miss.

I like your marbles, FDD. I'm glad nobody suggested gluing the damn thing back together with crazy glue or some JB weld or .... as precious as any very expensive piece is to an individual like their sister, well if their mom's head broke off, they shouldn't resort to gluing that shit back on either. Yup, nice conversion FDD.

I've broken 3 pieces, a chameleon glass small pipe, a single chamber bubbler, and an old sliding glass bong.
I don't have any pictures of the afters and only one has a good story.
The small pipe hit the garage floor and shattered into hundreds of pieces while I was scraping it out.
The bubbler flipped over off the table and hit the concrete porch floor and broke at the frosted glass connection.
The bong has a better story..
My gf and I were having a little party having not seen each other for 6 months. While we were rolling around on her bed my leg swung long and knocked over her bong which took a 4 foot header onto the tile floor. We both stopped and looked down at the decimated glass and started laughing so hard our sides hurt. Neither of us had ever broken a bong while engaging in cunnilingus. I replaced her piece for her later that night.

yes....id much rather that job tho....i was in there every day askin about it.....finally one day he says its only a family business and he couldnt afford to pay me...says he had to marry someone just for the help lol (joke of course) but every time i go in there i still ask him about it....can always hope....and he will grab somthin from behind the counter say id like it and done deal....
