So seen it asked time and time again about flower and when is time. This is my first grow and I’m thinking some where around 3 to 4 more weeks in my head.

Looking like its getting close. Gunna have some nice fat buds when shes done.

I usually just give myself 1 day per week to decide. If it doesnt look ready it gets another 7 days before i give it another yay or nay.

I think your assumption on 3ish weeks could be just about right. It will depend on exactly how quickly it progresses through the stages of maturity. Take some more pictures in 14 days and let us take another look.

I chopped my purp5 yesterday it’s taking up my drying tent so I’m hoping this will make it a touch longer.

Sir, I preface my comment with, I have not singled you out, but rather found you among the many. Pardon me for finding humor in normal stoned behavior Lol. Cannabis makes our brains over active, and if we can pull back and witness it, it’s hysterical! ...thinking ... in your head ...LOL! Where else do we think?!?!
You asked about going longer... typically it’s ideal. It is difficult to take it too long and ‘ruin’ the weed. That’s part myth.
Neglected plants that dry with roots still in the earth might be over cooked. Otherwise, maturation = complex psychotropic effect
Long flowering has always been my best high.
Your plants look spectacular. Enjoy your harvest

there are multiple things to look for, have they finished swellling? are most if not all of the pistils brown and kinked up? are the trichs milky?
i don't look at trichs till the rest of the plant looks ready, then i look with a 100 X scope, and make sure i'm looking at them from the side. there is a circular structure inside the trich head that will reflect light, making it look milky when it is still clear, if viewed from overhead. you have to twist and turn things till you can see them from the side, then you can tell if they're actually milky or not.
a lot of people tell you you need to see amber trichs, but i don't look for that. some strains get them, some don't, but no matter what strain you're growing, they'll turn milky when ripe.
