Broken stalks, HELP. blue cheese-tang dream

Yoo Rollitup peeps,

So earlier today we had huge storms and wind. I went back and checked on my plants after(barneys farm-blue cheese and tang dream). They had all been blown over and soaked with water. I propped them all back up with stakes for the night. The large problem is two of the plants had broken lower stalks, where it is woody.

What can I do? did mother nature just shit on my face and kill two plants?
tape them?

Sorry to hear that, but cannabis is a survivor plant it is very resilient, you can nurse them back to health if you are gentle. Can you take pics of the broken stalks? I suggest using string or yarn to wrap around the break a few times (I use speaker wire), and use the stakes to support the weight while it heals.

I agree all you can do is splint and wait

Alright, I have some work to do in the morning. Thank you all, I'm freaking out a bit it makes me sad to see my plants hurting. These babies are my life.

You might be very surprised how well they recover if you give them lots of tlc. Sometimes it will help the plant grow healthier and stronger in the long run. That's why some growers super-crop their branches by bending/snapping them purposely, it redistributes the flow of nutrients and water through the branches and creates new pathways and a thicker stalk.

Green plastic horticultural tape is the best. It is somewhat flexible so it won't choke your plant.

thanks Homies. After some TLC all plants are standing this morning. Both broken stalks I wrapped cloth around and tapped, then staked them for extra support. I think everythings gone be goooood.
