If you have ever tripped before you know, counter-intuitively, 'buckling-up' is one of the worst ideas. All common sense goes out the window; time would cease to exist if we didn't have clocks. The length of time left would make you a hostage, and just how bad will you make it for yourself? Its just like the wait until death, no clock.

The clock is just for comfort, a sense of assurance that things will always be, but emotional attachment to the clock really strains a mind when things don't go as planned. Let go and ride the wave. You will know when its time to cry, your feet will be dirty and your clothes tattered but the rain always hide your tears. There is no crying in the houses of enlightened men, of course an enlightened man who has lost his house is free to cry; just be quick to get over it and definitely before the rain dries.

Their are two general places a person will build their 'houses' the body and the mind. The people of the body suffer inside when they lose an inherently temporal function; men of the mind transition well and are happy with their holdings, they always seek beneficial function within a community. There is enough to go around if we just learn to share.
The man of the mind will always feel prosperous because he is demanded to see the bad side of things!!
So he will always attempt to equilibrate with ones in need.

Pass it on.Pass it on.Pass it on.Pass it on.
Live easy.

Dont Drive on it. (for extremely experienced pranksters only)

Might try some cold fruits and fruit juices, slushies... whatever, point is COLD and FRUITY. or pizza... lol, or Subway.......

pick your favorite type of music, and pick some of the longer, chill songs out of them. you may not listen to it, but if you want to at least it will be ready.
same thing with movies, i always have a few ready to play, but i normally forget about it.. and end up outside... or just looking at the wall thinking.

find a mirror. meet your mirror version of yourself.. understand what that means.

take more than one hit, every person i know who took only one, has always said, i should have taken more, and thats a shame.

make plans to not have plans the next day, you never know you might still be high ;) and if not will give you some time to reflect on the experience

Stay away from phones, especially cell phones, you dont want to accidentally call some one, they may think your in trouble or something

and remember No driving....

just eat that pickle, and dont ride that motorcycle..

although i've never tried pickles on lsd..

Enjoy it, LSD was the pinnacle of "Drugs*" and "Religion*" for me.

*I don't believe in Drugs or Religion.

a seed makes a flower.

a flower makes a seed.

an egg makes a chicken.

a chicken makes an egg.

then who created the chicken, the flower, the egg, AND the seed??

its so simple.

something created the cycle.

SOMETHING.

and IT has a name.

and ALL names are CAPITALIZED.

God.

Go OUTSIDE and watch the seemingly endless trees bow to you and see the leaves falling only to realize there are no leaves falling at all. Be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of green colors in one field of view.

Stay POSITIVE and all will be well. Don't get "the fear" and begin the cycle of panic-ridden thoughts. Go to familiar places you are comfortable with and with people you are comfortable with. Laugh, smile, enjoy everything for the short time you are in heaven.

THINK about everything you ever wanted to know more about. Climb from thought to thought inside of your mind and become weightless on this planet Earth.

Get STONED. You may not feel the physical effects of marijuana but it will certainly change your thought patterns and it almost always positively impacts my journeys. Infact, it ALWAYS positively impacts my journeys.

:eyesmoke: Enjoy! :eyesmoke:

lol I spent many acid trips on skyscraper rooftops, if you are not irresponsible by nature, there is no threat.
Happy tripping, welcome to your own mind.

Sorry i was to late to edit or delete my post so i have to start over...

All the advice i have read so far has been good... Take Puff's word for it..

1. Be Happy.
2. Be in Nature if you can.
3. A sober sitter is a must for your first time.
4. Please Please Please only take 1 of this... From what i hear it is crazy high ug's and 2 would be way to much for you without a doubt.
5. Be with people you trust and are completely comfortable with. People that you could completely break down in front of without fear of judgment.
6. Good Music.
7. Good food, as Darth suggested, Cold fruit, Slushies, Smoothie, Pizza, or of course SUBWAY :D :D :D
8. No phones whatsoever... As was told, i once looped on needlepoint, freaked out called some random lady and told her how much trouble i was in and that i really needed help. Needless to say once i realized what i did i freaked out even more.
9. Be prepared to be changed(in a good way)
10. Most of all, as Tenner said, Dont be scared of a bad trip.

11. Dont fight the experience. Let it take you where it want's to take you.

Sorry for the double post, but it seems I am not allowed to edit my original one.

If you like music when you are sober, you will LOVE music when you are high! The stranger the sounds, the better.

I recommend you pick up some of these prior.

Have a laser pointer on hand.

I wish I could edit my original post but the button seems to have disappeared. Maybe I'm just stoned...anyways a couple things to add:

Sensory deprivation. If you're tripping near your house or a friend's house (recommended for first timers) have a room inside of said house that is small like a laundry room or bathroom or closet etc. and make it completely dark and move everything to the corners or out of the room just so you're not touching anything. Maybe put a chair in there if you'd rather sit there than on the floor or stand. Enter this room right before or right after you peak. It may be overwhelming if you enter before you peak and peak whilst inside. Fear not. It's your mind on a drug. I find the visuals come much easier in a sensory deprivation room. It's a lot the same concept as CEVs, your brain sees nothing and tries to draw what it may think it sees, throw in some LSD and whammo you've got some off the wall visuals. Also, if you don't like the sensory deprivation you can always turn this room into a dark room with a rotating laser ball or strobe light and fog machine...

Visual stimuli. Collect some things you may find interesting and toss em in a folder on a computer or print out pictures of cool stuff then at some point during your trip, take the time to observe what you're looking at for everything that it is, everything that it is not, and everything you are making it.

Telepathy. The last couple of times I did LSD with my good friend, we seemed to know each other's thoughts. We would do the same action without any communication beforehand. Call it what you will, but I know what I experienced and what he experienced, I hope you experience something similar. It's great!

Anyways. Enjoy it.
