Brown hairs too quick?

It's really weird, we're in week 7 now so all the other plants are starting to have brown pistils here and there too, but this one plant has always had them and is developing just fine, aside from a little slower.

Looking good man, just keep watching her and giving her what she wants :peace:
Browning early, bit slower just sounds like somthing was a little off, dont sweat it if its just the one :-)

this is a noob question and can't really be answered. it is based off of a whole bunch of factors. you haven't even hit the finish line yet, but let's say you do and you don't harvest her early: a half ounce would be generous.

that's what pistils do--they brown off as they are replaced by others waiting to be pollinated.
Agreed but if just the tips brown and the rest off the pistil stays white for a long time this is not right.

They brown as their viability is expended not just because new ones grow, it works in a cycle yes but they have a set period of life. Say the start of flowering your gona get a lot of growth and the end not so much, you can work out the sort of ratio between brown and white to assume harvest time, QED!

Update:
I cut it off and it was awesome. Definitely growing more.
The only disappointment was the yield. It wasn't alot lasted me 2 weeks or so but it went how i wanted and i think it was pretty good for a first grow.

Browning"hair" is indicative of nothing and I find it to be more strain related than anything. I grow lots of strains that turn brown almost immediately after they form and mature in saying that I've also grown many that stay white and succulent until harvest. If it's from heat or p.h or nutrient burn or dessication ect you will be noticing a lot more than browning hair. And it can be a slight genetic variance. We don't have a 100%guarantee that every seed will be EXACTLY the same but we do should expect very close parameters.

I had a plant mature very early and stayed small, finished in under 6 weeks and the sweetest tasting bud i ever grew. Im sure i took pics and did a thread a couple years back but i just cant find it atm.
