Z_Z It got pretty fucking hot yesterday and it isn't a matter of keeping the growspace cool as I am only using 150 watt hps and a couple CFL's but it is more a difficulty to try and keep the room cool -.- So now what?Heat stress my friend
Damn alright thanks for the help. Are there any ways to keep the room cool that wont cost a shitload on the electrical bill? kind of limited on how much I can use.keep it cool and hope you don't get more burns
the leave will be fine as long as it doesn't get that hot again
Yeah but it's just the start of the summer here so you can imagine my concern as time goes on. Will PC fans really cool it that much? a big problem is that the surrounding room is what gets hot and makes it difficult for me to keep that cool and in turn my grow space..Yeah ive used PC fans, they are quiet too and if engineered well they will do a good job. But 1 leaf is nothing to be worried about.
Yes I do why?got a window?
portable ac unit thats about all you could do man sorryNot that it's a desired thing, but you can kind of expect that at least a couple of leafs will die or fall off during the plant's life. It won't kill it and probably won't even do anything at this point if it doesn't get worse.
Try rotating your plant every few hours or something to make sure that certain leaf isn't getting blasted with 150W HPS at all times.
Hps tend to run warm as shit so that's very likely yer problem
Naww the 150 watt HPS contributes slightly to the heat but hardly because its only 150 watts..Not that it's a desired thing, but you can kind of expect that at least a couple of leafs will die or fall off during the plant's life. Fuck thats what I was afraid of -__-.. Well my grow space isn't completely closed off at the moment. In a closet and sheet hanging over where the door was. If I reinstalled door and put proper intake/exhaust would that help to cool temps? I should probably get a thermometer in the surrounding room so I can actually get an accurate assumption of the difference in temps. But do you think closing it off and providing intake/exhaust would help? By the way thanks everyone and especially sick tryin to help get this thing worked outportable ac unit thats about all you could do man sorry
