brown stalk

I have 6 seedling that are 3 weeks old I just transplanted then to 5gl pots tonight only one had a stock that was brown and could barley hold the plant upright. My temps are 70-80 my humidity is around 50%. It was above soil where the problem is. Is it savable or should I not waste my time with that one?

Yes, stake it up but also let the fan make the stalk stronger. I am sure it is just transplant shock and will recover fine. Good luck!

Yeah if it's brown you've got stem rot most likely, probably over watered. We're you letting the soil dry a bit between waterings? That will definitely help harden the entire plant off, without getting into the taxonomy of things, it helps if you think of your indoor room as as an attempt to recreate the high desert of Nepal. Don't be scared of letting the soil dry out, the plant will let you know when it needs water.

Sounds like your probably watering fine, there are bacterias that can infect the new roots of fresh seedlings that normally won't harm an established plant, if the situation doesn't get a chance to dry, then this becomes more likely, but really it's just what happens sometimes. That's one of the reasons why plants make hundreds of seeds and not just one or two. That's also why you don't plant just one, you'll be able to take cuttings off your others in a few weeks, so don't let it get you too down. Are you running living organics or nutrient free medium? Best luck. You'll no doubt find success if you keep being observant and diligent.

Cool man, I don't know anything about bottled
grow big or big bloom from Fox farm gives me huge stocks at a young age.
That sounds great, do you have any data to go along with it, or just observation? Also do you mean across the board or with particular strains? I'm assuming you guys mean stalks and not stocks, but if it does give you huge stocks then I think we should all be using it as the economy would be in much better shape, but in the event you guys are meaning stalks, do you notice anything besides bigger stalks like bigger, tastier , more potent buds?

lol i was just following the post, yes stalks. And i thought it was just with my northern lights, but the pink diesel is showing huge stalk also.

I have no data to back it up as of now, but i will after a few harvests with different strains. Purely observation.
