Since the Grapefruit is almost ready, I moved things in the cabinet. I moved the blue bin #1 and #2 to the left under the blackstar, the laundry basket in the middle so the grapefruit is getting a little bit of both light to finish up... I figured it wouldnt get any bigger so might as well give the other 2 a better chance to grow bigger buds. The Blackstar seems to be a better flowering light , I kept 1 chemo under the HSS too so we can compare the development. I am just trying to get the best yield with what I got... the HSS was doing a good job on the conkushion and the Chemo, but I think the blackstar will give better yield. Thanks for following, pics of the new setup tomorrow

questions:

Is it allright to use vegging nutrient (flora nova) during flowering if I think my soil is lacking nitrogen? (not for the grapefruit but all others early into flowering)

Is habaneros solution effective to get rid of fungus gnat? the problem has gotten really bad overnight (NOT IN THE CABINET but in my hps room)... not sure I want to pay 100$ for azamax at the hydrostore for such a small room. but I want to get it over with right away while the flowers are small.

I used 5ml Cold Pressed Neem seed oil (2000+ppm) with 3ml Ivory Dishsoap, with 1L water.... fucked those gnats up big time. Cost me...$13 for 250ml? Will last me for the foreseeable future...

That sounds like a dank concoction Beef haha. If you need a quick solution Endur0xX, the habanero pepper spray that has a stickied topic in the bugs/pests forum does work...but I only used it in veg. I have read of people getting a pepper taste from using in late flower...may or may not be true. In veg it killed all of them in a day, just gotta keep applying cause they're sneaky.

i use a mix of neem oil and bug-be-gone .... 17$ for the bug b gone and i got a sample of the neem oil for free :D mix em together and it kills everything except your plants gnats , mites , anything you need gone :)

I got azamax, I dont want to fuck around, I used the pepper spray before even halfway through flowering with no problem and no taste of it at all, but it was for spider mites, it didnt seem to work with the fungus gnats right now and I dont want to lose the battle or have to fight them late into flowering because I won't be around as much. Anyway it's not for this LED cabinet. The plants I need to spray are early into flowering. thanks for the answers

some of them are sad, some of them are sad and frosty... I am satisfied overall so far, the chemo under the HSS is doing well and has nice colour still, the other 2 in blue bins are not as healthy for some reason...the grapefruit is almost ready.

pretty ladies, they don't look too sad from what I can tell. I'm really digging your party cup nugs. Think I might have to try a couple of those sometime, were they 12/12 from seed?

the party cup was a clone and was put 12/12 just after it rooted and it was tiny... I was trying supersoil in a party cup haha, dont know what I was thinking so it started slowly with very little roots! growing a nice bud but compared to competitors in the contest the size is pretty lame!! mind you it seems to be growing some more now...

OK!! time to reorganise the room a little, both lights are going to work together from now... the grapefruit is down!! it will dry to be about 1.5 oz, not too shabby! and each buds are the same, covered with the same amount of trichs, see for yourself!

I made some room, the 2 plants in the laundry basket were not gonna amount to much (due to different factors...) so I chopped them early to focus on the other 3.

Lovin it Endur0xX! rock out those last 3 little ladies with the BS up top and the HSS on the side... nice! you know i always have admired how HSS rocked those 5W LEDs in their panels since like, way back when..., and how they did it with an Apple-looking thin panel design with passive cooling... sweet stuff... they should have called it the iGrow, made[FONT=&amp] sure it costs 4 times as much as other similar panels, and thrown 4 billion in advertising at it. Have it manufactured at some sweatshop and you'll have all the teenage kids begging their parents to buy it for them.[/FONT]... hahaha anyways, i digress...

hey your bud closeups are @#$ing awesome man... how do you get those? keep it comin!
