Thanks fellas, glad to have you along!

Howdy Slinger, yea I could be mistaken but I believe officially I have Platinum Cookies so that's probably why the difference.
I just picked up a clones of that this weekend because I love how the Gsc is growing so I wanted to try a different variety! Nice to serve how the platinum grows, will give me an advantage! I love how accessible strains are in the Bay!

One of these days someone needs to explain how to setup a tent by themselves because I swear.... PAIN IN THE TUSH.

Howdy folks, after the sgs arrived I set it up but in the process the smaller girl was struck by a falling carbon filter. Amazingly only one branch snapped. Everything is just a mess of sticky colas and cookiedough/og kush smell. Very nice. Day 49/60-65 GETTING SO CLOSE!

Mornin folks, so we're now in the chopping window but I'm hoping they'll take their sweet time and work out some of the nutrients. I only stopped about a week ago so hopefully they have enough time. All they're getting is fresh water now. I'll be using my 800x scope to look at the trichome coloring soon as well. Tent smells phenomenal I don't want to leave hah.

Yea it's a real sticky mess in there haha. Training, efficient spacing and pot size are three things I learned from this grow.

Here you see quite a few leaves dying off. Not sure if its normal without shading but my guess is the undersized pot means I needed to be watering a bit more. This is a hard plant to photograph because i have zero photo skills and the nugs are just all over the place.

Sticky and icky. Niiiiiice. How's the density? They look solid. And +rep Bubba for all those sticky nugs and a great thread. I betcha they dry real fast though so watch that humidity sir. Are you gonna make some hash?

I got a pretty big tent, 6.5'x6.5'x6.5', and man it never occurred to me what a pain in the ass it is to setup by myself, so I feel ya B.

Man they are VERY dense I've had to adjust the ties all the time and when I touch the frame or zippers the branches shake and jiggle like Santa Claus with Beyonce on his lap. I realized I needed to support them when I got sneak attack smacked in the face by a branch after unzipping the tent. The smaller girl only had her own space and light for the last third of the grow and even she really stacked on weight. I love this strain I really do it's just delightful to watch and smell.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to go about dealing with the trim and leaf, that's my homework for the afternoon/tomorrow. I'd LOVE to make budder or oil but apartment living isn't conducive to that. Any suggestions? Beef has some cool methods of curing I was considering too. I'll be deciding how to do the curing and trimming shortly so any suggestions or threads for me to checkout I'd be appreciative.

Also thanks for the rep and kind words, watching you all do this for months and years has helped a ton haha.

I'm a bubble hash man myself, but ya don't get a lot back if you don't do it right and have quite a bit to start with. The one thing is you could just get a piece of silk screen and just dry rub the trim. I think 70nm would be good for that. And freezer curing looks like a winner. When I get my new fridge I'm going to try it. Mine doesn't hold a constant temp like you need. Actually Beef/Hyroot/PSU should get a sticky going for freezer curing. They seem to know quite a bit about it.

I was considering bubble bags but I think they're kinda pricey. Yea first time I saw Beef's water cure I almost had a heart attack imagining beautiful buds getting immersed in water but by Apollo it worked for him. Come to think about it my fridge isn't so steady either hmmmmmm,

Thanks for following along folks updates will continue of course, and I will be starting next stuff once I decide when I want to move. Next up will likely be Ace of Spades and platinum gs again. Yumdiddlyiscious.

Gotta remember that GSC gets real small buds, may not be your fault at all it is just the way things happen.

Getting the fabric on the frame looked a lot like the cartoons where two characters get in a fight and turn into a tumbleweed of flailing limbs and grunts. Except the grunts were all mine and the fabric laughed at my efforts until it gave in. It's hanging the carbon filter and light that's a pain because even as a fairly lanky guy I basically have my hands straight above my head trying to tie it in place and support at the same time. Definitely learned it's easier to do it right at the beginning than work around a living plant.

Wish I could have entered into the 3rd annual LED competition but I might move before a harvest could get in and I couldn't risk that type of stress. I'll definitely be following along and eagerly awaiting the 4th!

Evening folks, tonight I took some closeups of the buds to figure out how much longer I can let them go.

These next two belong to the smaller girl who's suffered a bit but dang she bounced back fast. She had under lighting due to space mismanagement, had the full blast of the cold air going past, and a snapped branch. To the naked eye she also appears to be a little faster along and getting darker.

I'm thinking I'll check every day now but it is hard as hell to focus that thing especially on an unstable surface (lack of tomato cages and canopy mismanagement meant they outgrew bamboo so I had to tie some from the tent bars aka UNMOVABLE). Looking cloudy, haven't seen any honey color yet but I'll be looking around. Any thoughts feel free to share. Harvest time soon!

Awsome job, man! Sexy ass bitches you have there! Love those macro shots with all the trich's.... you're obviously doing something right! :D

They look like they could come down within the next week or two, to me... IMO, not enough amber yet.

I'm thinking what I'll do is harvest the smaller tent since it looks more done and flowering period-wise it SHOULD be done. Also I saw a few people (Dawg?) make an observation that the crystals don't always change as vibrantly so this way I'll cover both bases. Plus this way I can start my Ace of Spades

Howdy folks, so still keeping tabs on the large girl and I've given 48 hours of darkness and chopped the smaller girl. I'll wait for the large girl before posting on all that. While we wait here's some pics.

Also thought I'd give a shout out to my favorite club Buds and Roses, Veganic Strawberry Cough won best US flower and it's well earned. If you haven't, definitely check them out sometime everything is excellent and their clone list is very decent too(ALL HEALTHY even better), I saw Cherry pie there recently (never actually tried that myself). Their dream queen is probably a super high yielder too (from the looks of the flowers they have)

I can't wait for her to be done so I can finally hang those damn lights straight haha.

Down below checkout her epic Crown

Below we have popcorn bud and the desirable fading leaves.

I'm thinking turning the flash off is a good idea for next time.....D'OH!
*EDIT* Just found a very small banana starting. It looked like this teeny tiny bright green blade of grass. I'll have to pay close attention now. Also answers a few questions on the stresses plus light leaks. Hopefully next grow will show if light leaks alone will cause them for PC and AOF. Assuming I fix my errors.
