Bubble hash without bags?

I was just wondering (could not find any info) if there is a way to make bubble without work bags?

You can make cold water hash that way, I would youtube "Gumby Hash". It's basically using gravity and having the kief drop to the bottom. You won't get full melt this way just because the trichomes aren't seperated, but you will get some good hash.
