Bubbleponic nutrients?

Anyone know of a good nutrient that mixes well with bubbleponics (deep water culture)? If so Im looking for a starter kit . The reservoir is about 1.5-2 gallons deep with one plant to grow maybe two of there is enough light.

Ebay has sample kits of advance nutrients and other popular nutrients. Since your reservoir is only 2 gallons this would be great way for you to try out some nutrients without breaking the pocket book and will allow you to experiment to figure out which nutrient you like best. Most nutrients are designed to work with hydro so you have alot of choices. Just keep it simple and find a good 1 or 2 part nutrient and possibly a beneficial root zone additive.

Ionic, GH, Greenleaf, Dutch Master. any good synthetic nute will work. Stay away from organics and teas(IMO).

I agree w/ Tokemup; keep it simple and ez. As for a root zone additive I would like to suggest 'Stree-Zyme+'. 1ml/gal. It can be found at your local big box petstore.

ps; Dont get it twisted. Bubbleponics and DWC are two diff things. Bubbleponics is a dwc with a bottom feed system.

One you don't hear a lot about on this forum is Heavy 16. It's made in CA, and I've heard nothing but good reviews. It's probably what I will end up running, but I'm still in "research phase".
They offer a full lineup, and unlike many other companies, they don't rely on cartoons on the bottles to sell.

I'm using BotaniCare Pro Blend with RDWC and the girls and I love it, I rarely have to ph my water with it, it's acidic enough that it brings my 7.3 avg. tap water down near 6.0 consistantly at stronger mixes (800+), starting out running 400ppm or so, I usually need to add a bit of ph down. My ChemDawg is nearly 60" tall at 2 months old. I do flush every 3-4 weeks though. And he's right, Bubbleponics/Aquaponics is not DWC or RDWC.

i like the dyna gro line. its got foliar, gro, bloom, KLN(rooting), and protekt(silica). very simple line of nutes and not too harsh on the pockets :)

Growforgold: we all have our favorites but the best I've used in a bubble tub is, Technaflora's, "Recipe for Success." It's complete, easy to use, if you can follow directions, and the most stable I've used. They have a sample starter kit you can get for about $30 and a little bit goes a long way. I've used it for about four or five years now without any of the nutes complaints you read about here. All you need is a gallon of good water, a set of measuring spoons and a pH test and adjustment kit. They should have everything you need at your local hydro store. I hope that helps. HSA

I've been using Advanced Nutrients very basic Micro, Grow and Bloom series. I have two bubble buckets and aim for 800ppms which makes the plants grow great, very healthy, with no burn. That means I'm using only about 1/3 the nute strength recommended on the label.

You can get a set of the three bottles, 1 liter each, for about $35 on Amazon -- if you use it at the strength I'm using it at, it should last you several grows if you're talking just one or two plants.

I use the lucus formula, with the dry maxibloom only, works great, been using forever. I dont spend a lot of money on nutes, my dry veg and bloom last forever.
