Build your own....Its alot cheaper SH has a pretty small res. Not really big enough for 6 plants.

And a 1000W HPS you cant really go wrong with. Just keep things within temp range.

I think it would be easy for beginners. I am already in the process of making one for my first attempt at hydro. :bigjoint:

I'm impressed....

Anyway, just build one man. there are plenty of tutorials on this site as well as any info you may need. If your not wanting a lot of bud i don't understand why your wanting a 1000watt lamp, maybe look into building a cheaper system. Why spend alot of money on a few plants if "your homie slanges kilo's"

I am going to make a bubbler nearly identical to the Stealth Hydro kit. I have a 14 Gallon Rubbermaid container 24"L x 16"W x 12.5"D I am modifying to fit either 4 or 6 plants, using 5" net pots. A 185GPH pump, 6-outlet adjustable drip head, air pump, and 12" air stone. Those are the base parts you have to have. The most expensive single thing for the bubbler was the water pump @ $12. :bigjoint:

I am making two of these bad jacksons, one for my veg closet and one for the flowering closet. I am going to get a 400W MH and 400W HPS for the veg and flower rooms respectively. The beauty of these bubbler things is that once you are ready to bud your plants, you can just pick the thing up and put it in your flowering room if you have that type of setup, which is perfect for me.

Hope that helps! :bigjoint:

huh... ok.

well might as well build your own, cheaper, no shipping time. everything you need is at wal-mart or a home depot... especially if your just going to ditch the rubbermade container. plus the water pump isn't even necessary.. all you need is the res with the bubble stone vaporizes the water up to the medium.. or you can use a wick.

good luck man.

also, they make those stones in all shapes..they range but not expensive..Mine are a foot long, but just get what you think will work, remember, to many bubbles is not a problem..

good luck man

*BAM*

You could always try looking at local hardware/irrigation/hydro shops, but I had no luck in my area, so I ordered online.

All you need is a 1/2" MPT x 1/2" hosebarb adapter found at any hardware store to hook it up to a normal pump (assuming 1/2" outlet and hose).

Man it dont take long at all it takes 15 mins maybe after you get everything all u need is.

5 or bigger gallon rebbermaid containner or bigger
60 gallon air pump
airline
2 6 in airstone or 2 12 i would get the 12 in

then make 2 holes i think a (1/4 drill bit will work) run the hose thew it hook both ends tho the pump and the other sides to the air stones

lol u dont need two airstones, lol 1 1'' airstone with a 15 gal air pump works great for a 5 Gal. dont waste money when its not necessary

How do you fit 12 inch stones in 5 gallon buckets? just kidding dude.. 5 gallon is good for one plant.. but no more..they get big.. drink a lot.. one plant per 5 gallons of water is good.. so like 4 plants with a 20 gallon res.. you get it.
