Like hell you can't.....they don't dispense them in brownies, etc as medicine because it's a "fad"...sheesh. Perhaps you were eating oregano.sorry to say but you can't get high in just eating pure buds.
You could munch through pounds of the stuff and feel no diffrent.
i use finely chopped bud, and sprinkle on some pizza, adds to the flavour
iT HAS TO BE heated first.
like in butter etc,
Never heard of that at all.I know too much heat destroys thc.I eat raw buds all the time,it takes a while longer than smoking, but you get a nice body buzz that lasts a while. And I'm no light weight.
I got a whole line of hash infused oils. Extra virgin olive oil is what i'd go with for making vinagrettes. My canola oil would be great for making mayonaise then using that to make ranch dressing.
Too much heat destroys it, just enough heat activates it, and when its bound to the butter or oil it becomes usable in cooking.Never heard of that at all.I know too much heat destroys thc.I eat raw buds all the time,it takes a while longer than smoking, but you get a nice body buzz that lasts a while. And I'm no light weight.

Pot brownies are not made by mixing the plant matter into the brownie mix, or even sprinkling it on the top, that's just not how edibles work.
If your bud is dried and cured properly most of the THC has decarboxylated, and is active, no heat required. Otherwise improper curing can result in a limited conversion of THC-acid(non-active) to active THC(decarboxylation).
Trimmings, and fresh pot need heat to be activated.
Personally, I agree that it's a waste, but my brother had the extra to do it with. I was just surprised that the brownies tasted just like brownies. I could see tons and tons of the buds in there, but it didn't reflect the taste. Then again, I think I did have a cold at that time...sense of smell and taste was probably off.You can eat the buds but your not getting all the THC. The only reason for cooking the buds is for the THC to come out (as THC is absorbed by fat and fatty acids) so that's why you hear about people cooking them in brownies and butter and all that good stuff. Just brings out most of the THC, but like I said, you can eat them raw (kinda a waste though).
I like the taste of marijuana. If you cooked enough weed into brownies it will taste like shit trust me. There is nothing tasty about weed or weed butter cooked into items. Not if done properly. Thats why i strictly use hash concentrates in the butter and oils, never extract weed or cook directly with weed. SOme folks stomachs cant take that. I like to take whatever weed i would cook with and make bubble hash or bho hash and use that to cook with....
