Bud missing trichomes. Normal for CBD?

Hello! Recently I got some freebies from MassMedical containing the 1:1 THC:CBD flowering strain "Medi-Haze". It's fairly new so I can't find anything specific about it online other than it's a 1:1 CBD:THC Auto flower. Is it normal for it to have virtually no trichome development? I use illinois medical and figured mixing some cbd bud into my edibles and wax's would be a nice addition, but this MediHaze has fully matured without a single trichome. It's possible they're hiding somewhere on the bottom of the buds, but compared to my thc strains sugar leaves, there's almost no trichomes what-so-ever. I haven't pulled any buds off to examine under a microscope, but usually there's some crystals visible to the naked eye. Is this common for CBD strains? Not male Hemph, but actual female CBD strains? Where's it hiding all the THC assuming it's actually a 1:1 strain?

Sounds like you got a 1:0.01 phenotype, how long has it been growing?
Planted it December 14th with other plants I've already harvested Flowering over a month now. Will it still be rich in cbd at least? It's description online says a white coat of trichomes and I'm just not seeing that. They were freebie seeds.
