Bud Rot Concerns - Expert advice needed

I have an outside plant that is getting what I believe is referred to as "bud rot." :cuss:It is a grayish mildew that grows where the buds are staying too wet. (Recent rain and generally humid conditions here)

The plant is otherwise healthy and while I had planned to give it another week of grow I'm not sure if it is best to harvest or treat the plant with a fungicide?

If I use a fungicide such as Neem Oil this close to finish will it do more harm than good? Especially regarding curing this stuff, etc.

So far I've been cutting off the damaged buds, removing the rot and then curing the product. The plant is down by about half what it had on it this time last week. Thanks and please let me know if this post requires more clarification.

Well it is raining again tonight so I'm thinking just keep harvesting the plant. Next time I will know to look out for this mildew/fungus whatever it is. ICK!

I would still like to know how soon before harvest you could apply Neem Oil as I assume it lingers on the plant for some time.

I'm using Bacillus subtilis (Bs), the beneficial bacteria that attacks Botrytis or bud rot. I spray Serenade weekly. I've never gone this far into the season but I have sativas I'm trying to finish. I use Bt to fight caterpillars. Soma suggests using Neem oil up to the 4th week of flowering, only.

Thanks for the replies and information. I will look for the Serenade product for the next time around. Might as well wrap this grow up anyway since I can't seem to control the weather.
