OK so I took one of my Hindu Kushes down a week early as it had the startings of bud rot to one bud of the main cola (didn't want it to spread and could use some smoke to tide me over the week till harvest).
So I havested the plant, cut off the offending bud and left it in a wok, with some fan leaves, on the side in my kitchen.
Anyway, so it's now 48 hrs later, the bulk of the plant (couple O'z I guess) is upstairs on top of the growtent in an airy box drying, still needs another day.
I've come back to the bud left in the Wok, I'd already removed the leaf with rot and the tiny bit of bud it had started to affect, but the bud feels completely dry, its crumbled in my fingers no problems, but not like too harhly, and its smokes pretty good, I'm high off one joint.

Why did the bud dry out so quickly? it's definately not warmer in my kitchen that on top of the tent.
I'm a bit worried I might inhale some sort of mould or some shit but I couldn't see any.
Anyone smoked bud with slight budrot?
