Bud Rot Question

I have an outdoor plant I'm concerned about. It's for about a week and a half left to flower, but the weather don't look good. It's rainy and kinda cool in the 60s. Ita supposed to rain for 4 nights and get down in the 40s. My question is how long does it take for bud rot to occur and destroy crops. Can it happen overnight? I'm just wondering if I should cut now and harvest a little early or wait a few more days. As of now there are no signs of bud rot.

it should take a longer than a day or two to form bud rot. you should be fine, keep an eye on it tho to make sure nothin happens
my plant is in a pot and i bring it inside at night especially when it rains to avoid mold or bud rot, also to avoid light pollution and people stealing her. im kinda worried about theives its that time of year.
if its not in a pot, put a black trash bag over it at night when it rains to keep rain off of it
good luck man

I wouldn't want it raining on about to harvest buds...definitely cover them up with a bag like ^^^ said. You'll be glad you gave them the extra week they need outdoors in the sun.

Ended up cutting. The risk of rot was too great and it hit 36 here last night so I brought it down a lil early. Looking like great smoke though, very pretty bud.
