Well she wasn't a big girl and she smelled good and I wonder if because of this issue the buds would not get bigger. the good news didn't lose the whole plant. GOOD BYE Blueberry JackBLUEBERRY JACK.jpg better to get some and kill her, than to affect rest of garden:weed:

Do you guys know the difference between bud rot and Caterpillar damage ? I have all ready seen early harvest of people thinking they have bud rot when it's caterpillar damage.

I thought that caterpillar damage caused mold or bud rot? What's the difference between the 2? Jus curious cuz I have a bit of worm damage. But don't wanna cut it away unless I have to.

All though they are hard to tell a part Bud rot is mold, it will have mold and spores with a greyish look.. It will move thru the plant quickly and everywhere. Caterpillar damage is localized and can be picked out and the bud will continue to do fine, you normally will see where the caterpillar has bit the stalk of the infected area causing death to that section of the bud and will most likely be confirmed by finding the worm in that area or other worms on the plant. If bud rot you will remove the infected area see no signs of worms, inspect for mold, and it will continue to over take that plant.
