I sure many of you already know this, but for those of you that dont...you can easily return moisture to your over dry bud. I'm talking about the buds you touch and turn to dust. Just place your bud in an air tight container, add a couple pieces of carrot and seal it up. Give it 8-12 hours and your bud will have sucked the moisture out of the carrots and will usually bring back the dank smell abit too.
I tried it with a bud of street swag, it was flat,no smell, dry as paper, etc... placed it in a small glass jar with a cork. Pushed a pin all the way through the cork and stuck a carrot slice on the end, and left it overnight. The bud fluffed up a bit, and actually smelled nice. I let it sit out in the open for like 45min and it was perfect.
My good bud doesnt last long enough to get dried out bongsmilie so I couldnt test that.

Just my 2 cents, i over dried my last harvest well some of it at least and as ive always done for harsh smoking super dry bud i use citrus peals whatever you choose and it not only brings this texture i like back it also seems to enhance the over all flavor of the smoke while making it smooth to boot and this is testimony from others that tried them both got great praise on the bud i rehydrated and bad revues on the dried one..but beware dont over do it a little peal goes a long ways...

Interesting. I'll have to try this out next time I over dry my bud. And how do you define over dried? Over dried for me is when buds have been in a jar for 10 hours after hanging dry and they don't moisten what-so-ever. I am used to them being a little soft after the first 10 hours of curing. I then leave the jars open until the outter buds are dry again and repeat ... until completely dry.

I second the citrus peels! Orange, mango, and esp lemon! I completely agree with dude above. I have tried almost every method mentioned and the citrus peels are best by far with benifits but do not put too much in or leave too long.

Adding a wet piece of actual plant is the best "natural" way though. Say you have some over dried herb and some still really fresh herb. Put together in jar overnight and the dry stuff will be back to life. Isnt ideal if you have killer fresh herb and swag dry herb though. (I wouldnt want to mix the two). :P
