budding my plant

I got some questions about my plant its 2 month old 2 foot big can I bud it..and how do you bud a plant or does it happen alone

Put the light cycle on 12 hour on 12 hours off....while in the off position its gotta by really dark with NO light and the plant will start to bud...good luck

and when u go 12/12 u need flowering type bulbs , if your using cfls u want 2700k fluros otherwise HID u can use hps for both veg and flower

if your using 2700k cfls for veg state is that a problem or you can get by with that?

you can get by with it, its just that they will cause a lot more stretching, or spaces between your nodes, and the plants will be a lil more tall and lanky then they would have been if you had used 6500k bulbs on them for veg.. it is kindsa like using an hps for veg instead of an mh, both will work, but one has a better spectrum of light for each phase of growth.

get on craigslist i just got me a gently used 400w hps ballast hood and bulb for 60 bucks and on 12/12 u have to feed bloom nutrients for the proper npk
