Budget Sour Livers (Sour Crack x The Livers) grow.

Hey all! New grower doing a budget grow of three Sour Livers (Autoflowers) from Mephisto with a cheap diy cfl light I made with a total wattage of 276 watts (Actual watts).

Right now there 25 days from sprout above ground.

Three Mephisto Sour Livers

2x2x4 tent ($37 shipped on Ebay)

Diy Cfl Light 276 Watts (Ask for tutorial if interested.) I use cheap 23 Watt Cfl's to maximize the most wattage per dollar.
12 23 watt cfl bulbs bought in 4-packs for about $10 shipped each 4-pack.

Roots Organic Original Soil

3 Gallon Smart Pots

4" Duct Fan and 4" carbon filter (Will be hooking up once flowering begins) Paid $34 for fan and $30 for carbon filter shipped ebay $6 for ducting, $5 for foil duct tape.

Light timer set to 20 on 4 off Paid $10

Digital Thermometer $4 on Ebay

Digital Ph Meter around $8 on Ebay

Ph up and down cheap on Ebay

Extension Cords $10

Rope hangers for lights, fan etc $10 for 4

Zip ties (for mounting things etc)

There's a few more items in particular for the diy light not listed.

I use regular tap water (has just the regular type of chlorine checked city info) I leave cap off for at least 24 hours for chlorine to evaporate the ph is high so I add some ph down to every jug and test again till I get a reading of between 6.2 and 6.5.

Here's some pics

They all started preflowering, tons of bud sites the leaf training really payed off.

I've just switched 8 out of 12 lights to 2700k for flowering.

Hey guys been rather busy, switched out light fixtures with quality porcelain ones (Only $1.50 each) what is really interesting is after switching to quality fixtures my temps are way lower it seems.

I ordered some flora bloom from General Hydroponics to start using once I get it. I've been using there ph down and liked it and have heard good things about there fertilizers so figured I would try.

Here are some pics from today.

Been a while, one has been in flower quite a while, another for a couple days and the last one getting ready.

I have a phosphorus deficiency with the one that started flower first, half to order veg nutes and give it a little.

I gave the one thats been in flower a quarter dose of flora bloom from General Hydroponics and is doing fine with it will be feeding the other one with it soon I wanted to give it a chance to grow more veg first if need be before introducing flower nutes.

Had to install carbon filter got to smellin nice and dank.

Here's some pics.

Hey guys! Wasn't really a lot of interest in a cfl grow on here I thought so didn't continue posting I am over on autoflower forums as well but anyway wanted to just post and show what is possible with the proper amount of watts, technique and good genetics for cfl and complete the journal, got an ounce and a half off the smallest, 9 or 10 grams short of two ounces on one of the bigger ones and still have a bigger liver flowering and now have two Strawberry Nuggets going one lst'd one seedling also have a 24k in 5 gal. The Sour Livers only had 2 gal of soil in smart pots. Used General Hydroponics Flora Bloom and GH Flora Nova Grow.

I used mainly the light I showed added two more 23 watt cfl on the side at later flower.

If there is enough interest I will continue the journal and explain further if not good luck and vibes to you all.
