Buds all the way up.

I see these plants where the entire main stem is a bud. How does this happen? Is it strain dependent or do you have to go 12/12 from seed? I only get a top bud when I try to get single colas, but I would love to learn how to make a bud all the way up the plant, on one that has a 2 month veg. My goal is to get the biggest single bud I can get off each plant.

one bud is usually from small plants under one month in vegg im sure ylou can trim the plants to make this happen to or just grow really gig plants and you get big nuggs everywareSANY0215.jpg

I have some mazar white rhino that is in 2nd week of flower. I cut the bottom 3rd of the plant branches off. Did I fuck it up or will I get the single cola? I put plants in flower at about 7". They were rooted clones

Much of it has to do with controlling the stretch. The better control over it, the closer the buds form to each other until they all join together to make a nice cola.
On these pics an Anesthesia and a Sugarpunch they were started in LST to create stronger colas from the ground up. I use 2- 400 watt lights
Theres lots of good info on Low Stress Training here if you research it.
Good luck and Happy Growing !

I agree with Lowrider and Cobnobuler, focus on growing healthy plants. It is very much strain dependent, if it naturally grows with tight internodes you will be more likely to see what looks like one big cola (budsites growing into each other). It is also dependent on your environment (intensity of lights etc). If you focus on maintaining a healthy plant you will get close to seeing its full potential at harvest. Lollypopping will help about a week before flower.

Some is strain dependant. I just harvested a Cotton candy sativa dom that always gets these long foxtail buds all one piece. Then again some of the main colas on my Pineapple Ex plant (Indica dom) were all one huge bud. If starting from clone or a revegged plant it may be easier to achieve one large cola bud for each plant but started from seed there must be some nodal growth before plant is mature enough to form this kind of bud structure... I'm saying first off you need a mature girl to form a large main cola & clones or revegging may be the easiest way to achieve this. Going 12/12 from seed the plant never realizes maturity & makes for diminished returns but those who do it are more concerned with speed than yield.

My clones were pretty much just had some leaves on top with. I side branching. I trimmed them that way after I cut them off the mother. Then when they went to 12/12 they grew all these side branches. Lol Orwell they are healthy I guess trial and error are best way to learn
