Buds have a braided look to them?

this has happened a few time and i jhust want to make sure its not something bad
instead of a big fat bud. i get a braided, 5 finger type bud, so imagine 5 long braids like small pretzels braid coming from a cluster... sound familiar?

these are clones that got stunted, and then i revived them.

any help wud be appreciated

Are the plants growing? Do they look healthy? Where are the pics?

chances are, you are like most other nervous nellies that have yet to realize it is a weed, that needs a little care and know how. We don't have to sweat every little detail of the plants growth. You even claim it has happened a few times, probably because it is the same strain? Was it bad in the past when it happened? You tell us.... We are supposed to learn from our past grows.

Sorry if you view this as a bitch, it really isn't. Just as outdoor harvests and shit approach, there seems to a shit load of "are my big beautiful buds ok?" posts...
Can you at least provide pictures of your "concern"?

i thot the description was really good... i had a few do it... usually the BETTER crystally ones... i tho maybe i stimulated them back into veg again or something ill post wehn the lights come on.

Every strain I grow gets those projections toward the end of flowering. I think if you don't get em you aren't flowering long enough. It's just flowerhead piling on top of flowerhead until there's nowhere to go but outward. It's a good thing; means you haven't chopped your plants down early for one. Makes them a little more of a pain to trim, but that's always a sweet pain.

I had some master kushes do that caused by heat stress...Interestingly, when it happened to me, it only happened to the MK's...My a/c broke down and within 24 hours and in 110 degree heat, the buds had separated and looked like a bunch of beads stacked on top of each other....Smokes just as good as any bud but looks funky....you get a bunch of "fingers" that look like stacked beads...

What are your temperatures like?
