Buds have dry leaves around them, 3 wks before harvest

The very top of my buds are getting dried out, several small sections of my buds crumble. Grown outdoors, individual pots, Norcal, no rain, Slight yellowing on some leaves, some larger leaves totally yellow and dead. This all came on in the past 3 days while I was gone.
Any advise??

You mean the actual buds are drying out and crumbling?

leaves naturally begin to die as the final weeks of budding take place. yellowing is normal by now but I don't think crumbling bud is.

A few buds are crumbling, it is on different locations on the bud. Leaves around some of the buds are dry too. No water issues.

Sounds like either too much K or they are root bound.
