Bud's pistols going orange early?

Hey every1 ive got a Northen Lights under a 400w and its been flowering for about 5 and a half weeks now.

The pistols on the buds nearer the bottom of the plant are basically ALL orange and brown.

More pistols turning brown higher up on the plant aswell.

Big buds near the top and still all a milky white, ive never had this happen to any other Northen Lights and the plant does not look near ready (Normally they take about 8-10 weeks)

Can any1 try to explain this and what i should do?

P.S - Ive been spraying them with soapy water alot as to try to keep the spidermite problem under wraps.

Thanks for any advice!

My guess would be you spray for mites with neem or something then dont wash it off in day or two leaving residue under the leaf clogging the stomna causing the plants growth in that area to suffocate.
I think that may explain the dying pistils on the lower buds.

you need to get some ladybugs or predator mites for your spider mite problem, then you wont have to spray crap on your plants. here in the midwest we have invasive asian beetles that move indoors during the winter. they're a total pain in the ass but thanks to them i've never had any problems with pests.

I hear ya, there are other ways like foggers, pest strips and co2 but spraying is the easy. Last summer I had spider mites and used neem most of the grow then foggers the last few weeks.
If you can spray without hitting the buds you will be ok. You just dont want water collecting in the bud. This year I am going to dose them with co2 to kill them.

how can you get rid of mites during flowering if not spraying?
lol dude i literally answered this question before you asked it in the post before yours. You should get some ladybugs or predator mites. they dont eat your plants they only eat the bugs that eat your plants therefore you dont have to spray shit on your buds. Its the best way to control and prevent pests but its only practical for indoor gardens.

i've seen the post, wanter to know of other safe ways.
i don't really have a way of getting lady bugs \:

i used some organic garlic spray, and i hope the rains will wash it off.

there are no local hydro stores here.
only like 2 in the whole damn country..

and no, i don't think they sell ladybugs..
got to use what i got..

I'm growing Northern Lights too and I'm pretty sure it's not an 8-10 week strain...more like 6-7 weeks. If it really is NL then this is normal (mine is in week 4 and 20% of my pistols are orange so I'm going to assume your plant is on track, though pictures would help...)
