Buds smelling bad after watering

So Yesterday i watered my plant as you do .. and noticed an hour or two later the smell of my buds completely change ... the smell i can only describe as rotten vegtables or a bag of rubbish thats been left in the sun for a few days,its nasty whatever it is.
I got the 60x scope out and checked some buds but found nothing apart from a few random long thin black or bright red hairs ??, the stems and bud leaves smell real good if you rub them but if you just put your nose up to a bud and give a good sniff it reeks bad.
What gives ? has this particular smell happened to anyone else ?

check for root rot maybe?

I've just gone and had another look under the x60 and can see web like hairs white and some black and they seem to be very long,you can only see them with the x60 and they just seem to be in random places but on all bud sites.. is this a form of mold,had a good look for bugs and found nothing,these long web like hairs are worrying me though.

nope cant smoke that shit may aswell chop and start again make sure you have good airflow

I got sad seeing i might have to bin the plant so went and had another look...eyes are hurting now ...i can see some black spots here and there and thought maybe bug like spider mite but they are too small to see properly would a x60 magnification pick up a spider mite properly ?
Wish i could take some some screenies of this ..
