I would have agreed that Wendy's is tops, until they did away with their awesome steak fries. Now McD's is the last remaining classic burgería with tolerable fries imo. cn
McDs has pretty good fries.. but I prefer In N Out or Tams fries.

This is purely subjective, but in'n'out fries, eeeuuwww. To me they taste like oiled parsnip. Even so, the nearest I&O is almost two hours from me, so getting one of their fine burgers as the perfect foil to fries in the red cardboard isn't an option for me.
What's Tam's? Living in the 'Stan, i don't really keep up. cn

'Stan?? And Tams is a family owned restaraunt chain here in Southern California thats really popular. They have gained success by placing a restaraunt within walking distance for everybody. That means a Tams restaraunt literally every couple of blocks here in LA and suburbs.

Yah. The "Rednekistan" of my profile is up here in a rural portion of centralish California. Y'know, emphatically not, um, "Cali". They have a lot of things in urban "Cali" that they don't have in the quieter parts of the state (Fornia!), for both good and bad. No Tam's, and no Target or mall either. cn

hooters> bWW. if your gona get screwed into eating frozen food thats most likely going to make you shart in the next couple hours, nice to see some titties with it.

but seriously. BWW is the "cool" place to hangout, small talk, watch team sports, and eat terrible food.
since none of those things interest me, i havent been back.

I love that place. Tons if beers on tap, great non-butter based sauces like hooters is, and a bunch of TVs for all the games. Been a regular since 95. Its even kid friendly once we grew up. A pile of wings and a basket of popcorn shrimp... watch out.love it!

The Great Central Cesspit is a metropolis compared to where I am now. My beef with what you call "civilization" is the population density. cn

Wings are just expensive in general. I used to go to wingstop all the time but their wings are too small and meatless. I haven't been there for years now but I did like their fries and ranch I remember. If I go out we will go to quaker steak and lube or BWW. I prefer BWW I love the honey barbecue sauce, but my wife prefers the other. If I order delivery or take out I like wingstreet or whatever place I'm ordering pizza from.

Not really. I do live in "gold country", and the drive into town is 15 minutes and to any real urbanization, well over an hour. And I still feel crowded. Back in the days of health and wealth, I lived in the Bay Area and enjoyed it. Now i'm oh for three. cn

I took my wife there, when they opened one near by. She wanted ribs, but there was some kind of recall on them. Havent been back since.
