i wish i heard of that stuff 3 months ago when i still was able to save my last crop sounds like it could have worked
but with neem u can spray plants once a week and it keeps the pests away
could be slugs if there is a trail its slugs

Honestly sounds like a slug or some such creature :P In my experienceDiatomaceous Earth or a product called "sluggo" is the best way to safely (for animals and you) to get rid of slimy and non-slimy creatures that feed on your precious ladies! The Diatomaceous earth makes it impossible for them to travel over due to its texture and consistency.

Now for the spider mites (black dots) A great product is Bon Neem.. it is a pyrethrum/neem compound that is meant for edible herbs and spices. I have used this to GREAT success.

Otherwise they look good! Good luck to you!
Came home this afternoon and went and looked over " The old mans little helper" and found 3 more of the hopping evasive bugs. These are wedged shapped and like to scoot around the other side of the plant. They are FAST! Realistically i dont think i will get much if any buds due to our short season. The plant is now about 40-44 inches tall. Vegging really well but i,m not so sure if its flowering. I have planted it in the ground a few days ago and it seems to be doing fine other than the few bugs. I pinched off a few yellowed leaves at the very bottom of the stalk so as not to let them rot on the plant. These yellowed leaves any good for anything? Also thanks to all for you responses! They do help! This growing takes as much patience as watching a shot glass of Jack Daniels evaporate in front of you! How about bud steroids? !!
