building a grow box, but want it to be able to fit t5's later

i am about to build a box for my first grow, but i want it to be able to house a t5 setup later, any suggestions on dimensions to fit a T5 setup with some wiggle room?

which t5 are you thinking of ? i have the 4 foot long 4 tube so make your box a bit bigger. another thing to think about which i diddnt is were the power connects mine is on the side in which case i had to do mine 50 inches wide just so it would fit. hope that helps

I build mine to be 24" deep, 48" high & 50 " wide to accomdate 4 shop fixtures to hold 8 t-8 flouro tubes. Works GREAT for vegging. As you can see I put 2 150 watt HPS lights. One on each side.

As you can see it all works

The first picture is grown totally under t-8 & t-12 shop lights. The next 3 are grown with the 2-150 watt HPS for flower
