Building A Super System

hi all,
im planing a new build for a aero system with a bubbler to give the water extra air in it for when its sprayed from the misters, has this been tried before and will it help ir hurt my plants? the set up is going to be in the biggest tupperware bin i can find, i am designing it now but i dont want to try something if its not going to work, or wont be needed, please give me your opinions, as this is my 1st built, Thanks all:leaf:

my take on this is that it won't be needed. The misters will already spray oxygen along with water onto the roots already. But it will difinitely won't hurt you to try.

well the reason for the bubbler is so when the roots get long and into the water, they will have enough air in the water so they stay happy. this is just a theory to me.

I always use airstones in my aero grows and I add h2o2.The reason for the air stones is 2 fold.It adds more oxygen which helps roots in uptake and allows for slightly higher res temps. The second is it keep the nutes from settling to the bottom of the res and keep thewater moving even more. The h2o2 well more o2 and it kills alage and bad bacterias

Hello,

I have thought using a bubbler in an aerojet system would be a great idea and still do but I recently saw the following ...

I have a hard-copy Nature's Necture brochure and one of the warnings stated:
"DO NOT inject air into reservoir (i.e. air stones, air pumps, etc.)."
I searched their website www.n-g-w.com but didn't find the warning there.

I would hope other nutrient manufacturers would provide the same warning but you may want to ask that question of your favorite nute manufacturer. Unless I am missing something, I guess you don't use Nature's Necture in a bubbleponic system!

Anyway, thought I'd pass it along.

The only reason that would be warned against is that some nutes tend to foam up easily and can clog injectors similar to if you added molasses in an aero setup ( i tried this one lol) it makes the entire res foamy and sticky causing system failure.Otherwise airstones are standard use in all hydro setups

I thought something was up since some aero units come with air stones for the reservoir. Thanks for the clarification Filthy!
