Building your own reservoir underneath flood table.

Hi Guys,

Any idea on what material, i.e. plastic sheeting I could use to build my own reservoir?

I'm about to construct a steel table to hold this crazy big grow tray (7.5' x 3.6') I was thinking of constructing some sides underneath so I could use a huge piece of plastic to create a giant reservoir underneath.

Any ideas?

I did these, lots of them.

Use 2x12 lumber to make a box, using lag bolts to put it together.

Line the box with pond liner (45 mil).

Put some cross braces to set the tray on (I used angle iron panted to prevent rust)

Now you can set the tray directly on the reservoir that is only a foot tall but holds a lot of water.
