While putting the seeds in the soil I believe I put them down too far, I attempted to get the seed back but it was too late! I poked through the soil a BIT! couldn't find it...They'll be fine a little farther down right??? I just read that you should put the shell just below the dirt...DAMMIT!


In my honest opinion we need to have easier instructions that or people are making this a little too harder than it is.

Depth to plant your seed:

Poke a hole in the soil to your first knuckle (a little over the knuckle if you have small hands.)

That should be about the optimal depth. old school measurement.

Provided they arent way too deep they should find their way up maybe just thin the soil in the center so theres a dip where the dirt is shallower. force your sprouts to stretch a little then even out your soil up the stem. Then move your lights closer to prevent further stretching.

spread the soil over a couple layers of paper towels then cover with more paper towels. soak it good. look for the taproot in a couple of days. there's your seed. :mrgreen:

Wow, if anyone ACTUALLY read this. I wasn't asking how far to put it down. I accidentally put it down a bit too far and wanted to know if they would be ok. Since this post I've located the little ones and moved them closer to the top. Thanks anyways. :wall:

So you want to know how to save the seedling if you put it down to far, and waited too long? well there is no way, Plant it an inch under and thats it :O:O:O:O research this before you post.... its a weed its not very hard to grow...

wish i would have got here earlier. morons i know. it would have been fine. they find there way up. i've planted then 4+ inches deep. it just takes a little , well a lot longer. good luck on your grow.
