yup. Roots always love to spread on larger area than plant itself. So If your leaves are already as wide as party cups it means roots are searching for room. I think you can never give them too much soil. Did you make drainage holes at the bottom of cups?

I'll agree with maariic; their roots are likely getting confined. If you pot them deep (so the soil is just below the leaves), they'll get an added boost from the aerated top few inches of soil.

Looking forward to some pics of their new home. Have fun playin in the dirt.

Cut the cups open and got them into there new pots! They had a nice set of roots on both plants. I was impressed. I'm sure now that they have more room to spread there root system out that theyll take off in growth. I hope so to we're creeping up on the 3 week mark this weekend. Anyway here's day 18 photos

You can also tell I keep the plants close to the lights at all times there nice and bushy I hope I'll get some nice dense buds I also actually hope that one of these is a male so I can pollinate. I know I said I wouldn't but I think it'd be an awesome experience hahahaha you got my OTM

Yeah. This is what I was thinking about. Lets look at them after one week. you see there will be difference. Just don't go too much with watering. MJ doesn't love swamp. Better is to let the soil dry out. But you have to be careful with it. Not for too long.

Anway 4 week update

Wow this grows actually gone by pretty fast. I know It hast even been 2 weeks but I took a see out it was half green half light brown ish probably won't germinate but I'm trying anyway just for the hell of it. Was curious of the progress. Here's some photos.
