Buried shipping container grow?

K so a friend and i are kicking around this crazy idea.
Tell me if it sounds possible and or worthwhile.

My buddy wants to buy a piece of property in the middle of nowhere and dig a huge hole to bury a 40 foot shipping container and a huge septic tank. Then build a huge shop/living quarters above it using shipping containers.

He figures that with a hidden access point the buried container would easily go un noticed. 8-10 1000k lights and everything in the shop all running off of solar and a wind turbine.

The shop would be used to restore cars and boats while cleaning cash.

Think its do able or a pipe dream literally lol

A tensioned slab with cars and equipment on it would likely present structural loads that would exceed the containers crush limit. I'd highly recommend a properly engineered foundation / basement with hidden access and could be called a "survival bunker", that also makes the diesel generator installation seem normal too.

Something like this was done with train cars and got busted. However it was a huge operation. Having a business over where you're growing is stupid as fuck though.

i saw one where they buried a schoolbus to grow in lol.bongsmilie

but yeah, container housing with solar and wind power is the way to go :bigjoint:

you can stack 3 of up and have a pretty pimp pad.:peace:

Sorry i should have said this in the begining.but no container will be above the buried one. It would be u shaped with the buried container in the middle with a container running north south on either side with a roof and one wall.
The train car grow was busted after yrs of harvests because those guys were dumb.
I would never run a diesel generator that big and i especially wouldnt steal the dyed diesel and have the transparent tank above ground.
Completely solar and wind powered.
And the business wouldnt be opened to the public.
Odd jobs for friends and flipping privately.
No theough fare on the building.

They had one in Mississippi I think where they buried 4 rail cars and connected them like tetris pieces...

I can't remember how they got busted... it was either a hunter saw their exhaust vent or a helicopter's thermal camera... that was like 10 years ago, I don't remember. Either way, shit was epic, lol.

Naturally we were both high as shit when we started talking about this and the ideas started pouring out lol
We even got quotes on the solar and wind turbine its really not that expensive and depending on location i think this bitch could start making alot of profit fast

thats so gangster :bigjoint:, each one of those containers can be luxurious living as well. 8-) You can even park your helicopter on one if you wanted.
I saw these guys who powered a commercial grow with solar plannels banking power in about 50 12v batteries. Silent and Green! and if you're gonna be digging big holes anyways, you can use geo-thermal heating and air conditioning :weed:

So am i but my buddy does raise a good point when we argue about it.
He says if your good at it and ita helping people while we make some money who does it hurt.
Good mj sells itself usually faster than it can be grown.

Way high startup cost with alternative energy.. And buried containers.. I dont know the actual load limits of it. I assume its way high I've seen them stacked 2 high, on jobsites but if you are near a port town you can see them stacked even higher. I was working in one remote fab shop that had 2 stacked high on each side and the roof was rig mats. rig mats are super heavy and tough, its what the oil rigs sets on, a C model loader has a bit of challenge picking one up.

Super spendy way to start a garden. Alternative energy, garden equipment, buried structure, crane to set the connexes. I've been helping a friend build a shop of similar size, with a non heated slab and basic wood frame.. Hes spend around 35K USD. Doing all the work himself except the pour. What you want is going to be around 100K USD.

The boat n car work is not to make money its a front we are both good at.
I dont think it will cost that much to get going.
The containers here are about 2000.
I would buy a used bobcat.
Rent a crane truck for obe day to place the containers.
We already have all the grow equip.
The most expensive part will be the solar system and even that we were quoted 20k for a 200amp service.

theres some utube stuff on this, the container will not support 3 feet of dirt on top of it. you`ll have to build a structure around it to support the weight. by time you spend 3k on the container and what ever it cost for the support, you may come out cheaper doing it with concrete blocks and steel.

The railway car bust was made because they were running a huge diesel generator in the middle of nowhere and had the balls to steal dyed diesel.
Stupidity gets u caught regardless how u grow
