Burnt my F*CKING cola!

sup guys i accidently burnt my best cola on all my plants i was tryin to multitask and forgot to move the cola away from my light where it used to be and it sat RIGHT UNDER a 400w HPS for 2 hours. i came back and half the cola is burnt to shit. god im so pissed.... :wall: i was thinking of selling it to a buddy but now its damaged goods... just on the upper section tho and i got rid of all dead bud. Wondering if its still presentable even with the burn marks or will it smoke like shit now.

i did same thing before over a couple days it will die where it burned trim off dead stuff you should be good watch out for mold

That sucks man, I want to see the pics...interesting thread...I'm in day 11 of flower...I don't see any bud forming or pistils yet...the top of one of my plants is like 6" from my cool tube w/400 hps...I can raise it like 2" more but I dono when it's going to stop growin! I have a 6 inch fan blowing into the back of the tube and some breeze goes around the tube so the top of the plant is constantly moving slightly...my fear is that it might burn eventually...any advice anyone? I'm doing DWC in 3 gallon containers...I'm thinkin' if it gets taller or starts to look bad I can maybe tie it to the corner of my tent? sort of some LST? It's in a 2ftdeep, 4 ft wide, 5 foot tall tent with 2 other plants...next to it...any advice? Thanks.

just tie her down like you were thinking. be careful though.

yo recuseonly just wondering was the cola touching the light or was it a few centermeters away from the light when it burnt?

:clap:right on, I didn't know if it would stress her out or anything...I was thinking tie her at like a 45' angle...not sure...can I do that? I was thinking if maybe I could rig it to where I tie her town to a string that's based somewhere on the lid...that might make resevoir changes easier...? Hmm...We'll see, I'm going to be careful...my plant is basically level with the tube now but on the other side of it...

Do they keep growing upward until harvest? Or will it stop after these first couple weeks?

spesh: it was touching the light. I already scraped off the dead plant that was on it. Since i got to it quick there wasn't too much of a problem with a fire hazard but the butd was so dried and burnt it just fell off.

just bend her a little bit everyday, if you do it all at once it might split it, probally not but it never hurts to err on the side of caution imo. it will stop growing upwards like it is pretty soon and start focusing mostly on budding. a small shot of growth upwards is still possible though

Thanks, I think I'm going to switch her places with a smaller 1 next to her...will it effect her negatively that she's been directly under light for awhile and will now be a little to the side? I figure if she's in a corner instead of the middle o the tent it will be easier to tie her to a corner maybe...thx

it wont hurt it, in fact it will do the opposite, alot more of the lowerbuds on the cola will be getting direct light instead of just the top of the cola shading them.

cool thanks, I'm going to tie her to the corner of the tent...she'll have to move/bend a little I imagine each time I do a res change....is it going to hurt me tying the cola away from my 400w hps? it's a small tent so I imagine the light is reflecting everywhere but she won't be directly underneath anymore. I'm scared but I need to do it, she's taller than the bottom of the cool tube now :)
