Burping jars into high humidity??

So I'm currently trying to cure my latest crop. I know the aim is to let the humidity rise in the sealed jars then but then to release the moisture and repeat until the humidity in the jar is ~60%.

Unfortunately the humidity where I live is currently around 90% and has been for weeks. I had to dry using a cardboard box with lots of tiny holes, with my out take blowing at it (not ideal but neithers mould).

Theoretically no matter how much I burp the Jar, it will never hit 60% in these conditions.

Am I right? If so what can I do to avoid my still sticky buds from moulding or to hit the cure zone?

You'll just have to suck it up and buy a dehumidifier really.
Although I've dried in high humidity with a small fan blowing directly on buds. Not with the fan blowing on them hard but enough to where they have a constant breeze on them. You can over dry easily that way though. Check em every 2 hours. If they get crispy on the outside then Chuck em back in the jars and sweat em until they even out in RH.
Its not ideal But it'll work.
On a side note If you don't have humidity readers for your jars then hit up a petco and grab some of the digital ones for reptile tanks. They're dirt cheap and stick right on the tops of jars.
Just be sure to check where the % sign is.
I've panicked when I had it backwards and thought my buds jumped in humidity in one jar.

Try boveda packs 62%

@weatwardhole take your jars and hygrometer, stuff it in a backpack,jump into your car and turn the a/c on to desired setting. Burp away

with that much moisture in the buds putting them in the jar is too early they should be firm and dry to the touch but not crispy and the stem should snap not bend before the jar. you can get moisture absorbing crystals at a hardware store they use them in basements, RV's and boats to control moisture, put the buds in a paper grocery bag and put them in a box with the crystals until you get the moisture out.

Thankyou for the replies everyone, all of your replies are brilliant and that's why I love this site.
I've opted to put them in my flower room during lights of as all the ventilation in their seems to be enough and jaring during lights of. Ive also got bodeva packs now on order after look into them (cheers pig4buzz).

The link from lightgreen is actually really interesting although I felt bodeva packs were more cost effective in my circumstances.

I'm a tad worried about storing my buds near dessicant, I know it's probably stupid but id rather not run the risk of contaminating my buds. Not because your idea isnt good, its Cus I'm a clumsy stoner

You put the stuff is in a container so there's no way it can contaminate the pot hey if they mold you got nothing.

Has anyone ever tried rice? Worked on my iPhone after it sunk to the bottom of the lake .

It would pull the moisture from the bud too fast ,good idea,i like to cure for the first week in cardboard boxes,this helps pull the moisture from the inner core the stem's but its near dry ,when i put it in boxes,for a week then i jar it,i have found by doing this i only need to burp the jars for the reason,i like to change the air in the jars,and this does not effect the taste of the bud.you really don't need to burp if you do this but i like to check the changes in the smell

Your not going to get much nutrient up take during that time with that high an RH. It reduces transpiration! That's the bulking phase and transpiration is important! Even if you do nutrient reduction's at end growth! Transpiration keeps things moving around in the plant. Slowing that - slows everything, including that "bulking".
