Bushy Plant

My plant is about 18 days old, it seems to be getting very bushy and not growing very tall... which is a good thing in my situation but is it growing normal? As a result the lower leaves seem to get no light at all.

Looks like a healthier green stem underneath.

Those are looking real good man. keeping them short will keep your nodes tight and give you tighter bud sites. what kind of light are you using?

Looking good man. Everybody take note.....THAT's what they're SUPPOSED to look like, not these stretchy things I see so often. I'm not criticizing, I'm just stressing the importance of having sufficient lighting. There's your proof.

They look great, bushiness is good with these kind of grows.

You'll get plenty of verticle growth when you begin flowering, which you could probably start now or within few days.

Its obviously a male plant.. right?

Hmm.. so where do i go from here... i spent a lot of time and money on that one plant, i have one other plant growing with it but it seems to show much less promise, and probably shouldn't have followed the larger one into 12/12

Well it's why we do it ! They are babys and we love to take care of them.

Yeah... i obsessed over this plant the last month and now all i want to do is kill it!

But ive decided to plant it outdoor a few miles from my house and check it every couple weeks or so.

I hope nobody is trying to grow a bunch of females a few miles from your house at the same time, but go for it. At least you get to watch it grow and finish. It may finish with enough resin to give you a buzz when you smoke it, or you could make hash from your end product.
