Busted

So here is the deal I was driving across the US to go see the family with a buddy that I grew up with. About 1300 miles into the 2100 miles we got pulled over and they searched the car. My friend had just under an O of diesel and I had about 1/2 an oz of my 1st grow. Now when they went through my car they took everything we had, which was a pretty large amount of pipes and such, but the one thing that freaks me out is they look a grow book I had in my bag that I didn't know I took with us.

Here is my deal should I call my guy back home who is taking care or my babys and tell him to pull em and ditch em. I was busted so far from my apartment and the address that I live and grow from is only conected to me by one bank in the city I live, infact the address on my ID is the house my partents live at in WI. The cop that busted us did know we were coming from the CA but I said something about SD which is not near where I actually live. What do you guys think?

Oh yeah we both only got tickets for $250 and then they let us go. Thank god for decriminalization in Nebraska![FONT=Arial,Helvetica][/FONT]

If you just got a ticket you should be ok im not to sure what the police are like over there..but i would tell ya mate not to open the door to ANYONE till you get back...Just to be safe...Did they say anything about going round to ya house?

They did not say anything about going to my house, I got this ticket in another state then I am a resedent in (which is also a different state that I grow and live in). When the cop was going pulling stuff out of my car and asking what was whos he asked "whos bible is this" when he pulled out the "Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible" book from my bag. I said it was mine but he didn't really seem to take any special note of it or anything (I even had a scale and he just took that as well). We were really nice to the cop and told him everything was just personal for a long winter break.

dont worry about it man, they arent gonna give a shit about if you are growing or not, especially if they think its just a personal grow and besides they dont have the athority to go to california to do anything about it.

That is what I was thinking that they would have no athority in CA, if they even bothered to try and track down where in CA I live. Again I dont have anything more then one bank account in CA with my living address connected to it, the rest are all set to my PO box address or my parents address in WI.

Damn sorry about your luck man thats a bummer. I wouldnt worry about it too much, state PDs dont really cooperate with each other that much so I doubt hes going to pursue it any further then the ticket. Although Im sure its hella sketchy feeling you got.

Ya i check outside my house alot when i hear commotion, making sure its not a raid or something.

You know what the worst part of all this was? The half oz I had was my first grow every and I had only smoked about a g at the most before it was all taken by the nice police man. It kind of broke my heart a little... my poor babys will never be smoked.

I bet it did get smoked. and probably by the police!!!

Dont worry about it you said you got a fine. PAY it.that cop dose not want to do any more work than he has to.He fulfill has DUTY and gave you the Ticket.He already ran you through nc ic computers.you came back clean,so you get a ticket.thats all he can do by the law.Pay the ticket and you are done with it.But it dose scare the shit out of you.Lucky schoolie

Hehehehehe, that's why I had my hubby hook up our police scanner to our stereo. Now I can listen to it whenever I want. Even with the cordless headphones.

Plus our land is fenced in and gated. We have cameras at the gate so we can talk to people that want in (that way we don't have to go down to the gate and let em in remote works from the house).

You know I would be much happier knowing that the police man smoked my pot and not that it just went to waste... Me and my buddy never really were mad or upset about the whole thing, I feel like we got off very easy seeing as how in many other states I would be going away for awhile. I mean I had a scale, 1/2 oz, cookies, grow book and a few pieces.
