Well i didn't have the exact piping i was looking for, but it worked extremely well. The main thing i had a problem with was after the oil got cool and harden it was alot harder to scrap off the side angles, i should of used a bigger dish.

I used high quality clippings from bud and used only about 3 grams total. You can see what I got out of it from the pics.

Very Very simple and didn't require alot of money or equipment to make either!

That oil looks good. I have some friends that make it and put it in vials. To soften it they heat it up in the vial or microwave it for 5 secs.

i ended up using the PVC, i bought a 2 feet of 1 1/4" and 2 end caps for like 3-4$ so i just wanted to give it a trial run. Im gonna buy the CPVC that you were talkin about, im gonna make lots more. I just gotta find a place where i can get several cans of refined butane. I was really pleased with the final product tho, I let that bong pack dry out till midnight last nite then took it, my head was spinning from caughing so hard. Definately not used to the potency. Any suggestions as to how i should collect the oil after the butane is evaporated?

I collect it into a pyrex measuring cup, then put in in a double boiler on the stove
(AFTER the bulk of butane has evaporated outside) to cure it. It can take a while for
all the tiny bubbles to dissipate.

Also, it's safer as you cannot exceed the 212 degree mark , since THC starts to degrade
at 250 deg. Since the product is heated, it's also less viscous , and easier to work with/package.

PS - make your tube out of 1" - and only 1 1/2' long. Uses less material, and the butane flows better.

PRO - TIP - Use a gold screen coffee filter for your filter- just cut the screen to fit, permanent- effective !!

I extract straight into a Pyrex Cup. (Just hold your tube down in it.)

When you put the cup into the double boiler, the heat makes all the stuff on the sides melt an run down to the bottom !

Nice idea man, I didn't think about that and I had a problem with getting all my BHO from the sides of my pan and stuff.

+rep for that

Nice... do you add any water or anything to it? or the water from the double boiler is enough the temp reaches 212degrees your sayin and thats straight? im gonna go today and get CPVC at a foot and a 1/2 at 1" and try to find the cleanest butane i can.

well you put water in the double boiler, not in the BHO. Then you set your pyrex containing your oil in the pan.
Make sure you do this AFTER most of the butane has already boiled off - so there's no explosion !

So the pyrex containing the oil is gonna sit in the top empty pot of the double boiler. does pvc really leach into your oil?

I like to have mine drip into water and then use a spoon and collect it out of the water so it gets a final flush

is 1 inch in diameter is big enough for the CPVC pipe? I went to lowes to buy it and the biggest in diameter that they carry is 1" it just doesn't seem like that is big enough.

I was also wondering about the types of butane to use, i know there are lots of types that they say not to use but I was wondering if the Zippo brand is alright.

Vector power and ronson In that order. 1 inch and 1.5 ft long u should do about 1 1/2 ounces and 10-12 oz of butane (500-600ml?) Each time. But yea 1 inch is fine
