Buyer Beware! Green Brothers Hydroponics = SNITCHES!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered a grow light from Green Brothers hydroponics on ebay. They shipped a large adjustawing hood in the original sunlight supply box. Zero discretion. After leaving them a negative feedback on ebay I got the following reply:

"Police have been notified that you are a marijuana grower. Good luck. Seriously.

- greenbrothershydro"

THEN they left this feedback message for me:

"Marijuana Grower Looking for Discretion in Shipping. Already notified police."

What kind of grow shop does this?

You have been warned.

P.S. If you don't believe me, do a google search for these guy's ebay page and look at the feedback they have left for others. You will clearly see that I am telling the truth.

P.S. I'm 100% legal and under my limits so don't be worried about ol Bill. This is just a heads up to not do business with these low lifes!!! I wouldn't snitch on my worst enemy, that shit crosses the line!

P.S.S. Out of over 100 mail order deliveries of hydroponics nutrients and/or grow equipment this has NEVER happened prior. So, please don't lecture me. I'm just trying to lookout for my fellow growers.

I will never use ebay again for things of this nature. However, I have had many great experiences with eastwesthydro, plantlightinghydro, growco & ehydro and will continue to endorse and use them.

I'm experiencing a bit of a roller coaster ride with this seller right now. When I pointed out that if I contacted sunlight supply and advised them to view the feedback green bros hydro left for me on ebay which contains the "m" word, that they would most likely not be a distributor for sun supply anymore they smartened up a bit. So I thought.

They offered to refund me for the light and remove/revise the feedback they left for me in return for me removing the feedback I left for them. I initially agreed, however today I got an email from the seller stating that ebay informed them that seller feedback cannot be removed. Well then they have no way of making good on the original deal and said deal is void pending renegotiation, right?

I told them if they can't remove my feedback I'm not removing theirs! My 11 year ebay feedback record as a buyer/seller and respective paypal account is clearly as much if not more of a consideration than their ebay store that has been open for less than 30 days and has 7 feedback. This is reasonable thinking right?

I'm honestly not that worried about them reporting me to the police because I am 100% legal and squeaky clean. Of course I'd rather avoid the experience but if it went down I don't think much would happen other then a minor inconvenience followed by an excessive improvement with my mild to moderate paranoia issues that virtually every grower suffers to some degree or another.

It's pretty obvious to me that this seller has much more incentive to indemnify me than the other way around. Oh yeah, They claimed to have just been bullshitting about reporting me to leo. I actually believe them. I guess that's kind of important to mention. Only time will tell. These screen shots aren't going anywhere. I can decide to end their ability to distribute for sun supply with one email. That's a lot of leverage.

The only wild card in the equation that I see is their stupidity to not correctly asses the situation. If they are dumb enough to break rules 1 AND 2 back to back they are definitely unpredictable.

Well see the thing is it is not illegal to order a grow lamp/hood ext. As soon as you stated your problem to them in public view they were most likely legally obligated to report you. I know it sucks but its them or you. If you had contacted them via private email I bet the response would have been different.

No offense, but that is a completely ridiculous interpretation and reply to this post. It's standard issue for a mail order hydro shop to ship obvious items discretely. 99% of all shops that stay in business know this. These were some rookie ass unprofessional chumps. Also, what good what sending a privat email have done? The damage was already done by the time there was a problem. It's not the feedback I'm personally worried about. That shit is more of a scarlett letter for them than me. Their threat to snitch was inexcusable and their attitude after I called them out are the major problems as I see it. Oh and by the way they weren't legally obligated to report shit as I didn't state or imply ANYTHING to suggest what I was going to grow with the light THEY DID! But I don't want to argue or cause drama. Not the direction I need this thread to go in. Thanks for your opinion I guess.

I would hire a lawyer and sue their asses off. The burden of proof is on them when they make an accusation and any judge would hand you a slam dunk for slander. Now your reputation, your character is in question and you can no longer do business on fleabay because of what they did. Go for the throat; these scum deserve to die.

At this point that might be what happens. They have a pretty smug attitude about this whole thing. Not sure I should let them continue to do business. They really don't seem to be taking this as seriously as they should and are giving me really cliche CYA replies. I have to call the store tomorrow and make sure the owner of the store actually knows what happened here. There is an outside chance that the idiot running the ebay store might be separate from the brick and mortar and the owner has no idea what said idiot is up to. I'll try getting ahold of the owner tomorrow and report back.

It is illegal and they are a business which just makes them look horrible as a business. They could lose massive amounts of money because of some idiot that runs that ebay page got mad and slandered A PAYING CUSTOMER

If that store has a separate employee other than the owner running the ebay store I would fire his ass in a milisec

Imma blame this one on you,you have 329 ebay feedback score and you're a buyer,but you bought from a seller with only a 7 feedback score 8 including yours.
I wouldn't expect too much from a seller who has only been on ebay for a few months and doesn't really have any items,actually no items or store.

for real though i cant find nothing on ebay for sale by them hell i dont even see them listed as a seller. but fuck them i bought from someone with a low score b4 but i checked them out first sent an email asked stupid questions felt out there attitude, some times its better to be cautious. personally i would not have bought that type of thing from someone without a reputation plenty of legimate and reputable sellers thats sell batwings cheap and discrete its kinda your fault but hell i would pursue that in court thats a free check for someone being a dumbass, if they are actually connected to the store somehow.

I would have to agree. I love how alot of people assume that when your growing MJ its illegal even when they damn well know you live in a medical MJ state. Or, maybe these idiots really didn't know. Guess they shouldn't have opened their mouths on the open internet like that.

Just think about it,it could have been someone on RIU or any normal person who just had some things to sale,they weren't whole sellers.
