buying clones off craigslist?

If youre smart when looking and dealing with people from Craigslist I think you can have some excellent luck and save yourself some time growing from seed. That said whenever you get ANYTHING from anyone else always quarantine and treat like it has every mold and pest problem that exists for at least a week then introduce them to your established and clean garden.

Just a head's up, your Health Canada card does not allow you to buy clones. You're breaking the law. I called the hotline and asked them about it.

I would avoid buying clones unless you are looking for very specific strains and can verify that the clones are absolutely insect and disease free. The extra work and time to grow out from seed is worth it. Just browsing this forum I have seen many stories of somebody introducing Powdery Mildew into their environment and having a hard time getting rid of it.

i got clones off a guy from craigslist. i payed $45 but they are exactly what he advertised, sour d. i ended up kinda gettin tight with the dude, he has a decent size grow op (enough to be able to sell pounds to customers), 8 different types of clones, cured flowers for sale, wax, concentrates, and some nose candy lol. so even at $45 per clone it was worth it to me... got a good connect and someone to turn to for quick growing tips and advice out of it. he also sells me used growing equipment for cheap... im going to be picking up a brand new still in the box 4'x4' grow tent ($175 retail) for $50 because he never used it and doesnt need it anymore

Big are u in washington state?...i actually bought 3 clones off of cl since im mmj...just be sure to look at his mmj paper work and him to look at urs be sure to call it making a donation to him for his plants...i actually bought weed from a guy on cl(made a 100$ donation for a half) and now he supplies me herb when im in need he also is gonna start hooking me up with all the free trim i could need...honestly man you can get good ahit off cl...just meet one good clone supplier and heep his number in ur phone as clone guy lol

Also i got 3 clones off of my guy i did ask him tons of questions...he said him and his buddy have a collective just talk to the peiple make sure thet aint trying to bullshit u

Have done it, will again. The guys are right, look for pests and thieves.

I check out craigslist everyday for clones just to see whats out there
although I'm am looking to get some cherry pie.

Would it not be possible to visit a dispensary? I would be far happier being able to pick my clone from a selection whilst being able to see a mother and try samples of weed from clones taken from her. (I can't believe that is possible in some States - so cool, better than being able to buy seeds in shops like here in the uk. Must suck to not be in those States, disunity within a nation, kinda mysterious to someone who struggles to understand how US democracy is democracy and not Imperialist capitalism anyway).
