buying heat sinks from alibaba is it worth?

When started this post I added also specifications. The reason I did that is because I wanted to saw them to the people who knows about heatsinks more than I do.we all know that the price is lower than other sellers.we don't have to stick with it any more. If anybody thinks this heatsinks are crap I would like to explain to me the reason ? Is the diamentions ? ( which I doubt ) is the aluminum alloy crap? Btw is al1070.

Are you buying direct or through an Alibaba account? Alibaba has trade assurance and other ways to pay. I have ordered from Jerry @ Lang Teng recently. My first impression of the man is that he is quick to answer emails before your order and a lot slower after the order. Also they promised a shipping date and missed that by 3 weeks. This does not mean he is crooked. Their ways of doing things defers from the west. If you are prepared to wait and have a calm manner dealing with the Chinese is worth it in my opinion. Customer service is not included in their cheap prices. If you go into it knowing that it will keep your blood pressure down. Bare in mind the Chinese were involved in commerce when Europeans were still chasing each other around with sticks.
I would definitely recommend purchasing through Alibaba's trade assurance. This will cover your money until you have received your goods. If you are a company and they think you will pursue any misdealings within their civil court system they will comply with your contract (eventually). In Chinese civil proceedings your can sue for loss of revenue including your projected retail sales value. This tends to motivate Chinese businesses to toe the line. As a one off individual purchase Alibaba is your safest route.

Hallo Netherfly , Hoe gaat het met je ? Ik woonde in Nederland vijf jaar van 1995 tot 2001. Zowel mijn kinderen er geboren werden . Eén in Hilversum en de andere in Almaar . Ik mis het soms .
Uw projecten zijn zeer indrukwekkend ! Sorry mijn nederlands is niet zo goed.

Hello ty for the info guys I am also from holland, and I dont know how netherfly has done it but when I buy stuff from china(heavy stuff) I always bear mind that I need to pay import taxes And Vat. Thats like 30% price increase.

I prefer tme.eu passive heatsinks from mechatronix for 10€ and they can handle 75w. Free shipping super fast and no surpises.

I ordered and received everything without any customs meddling.
I order lots of electronics from china, my other hobby is flying FPV (drones).
This is of course always a gamble, but the chinese are very crafty in making fake declarations, this works 90% of the time (in my experience).

Just last week i received my order from Jerry from Kingbrite, and he added a declaration with a total value of about 15 dowra :mrgreen: worked like a charm.

50 each 120 mm x 70 mm, cost 50 x 6,5$ 325$ + 225$ for shipping
so total 560 $ but if you have some good heat sink for 10 e and are ok for 50 w cobs i will happy with it just let me now what kind have you get please

110 x 50 mm taiwan[ mingfa tech ]..supposed to cool 46 w..5.60usd 140$shipping to canada

next ones up are 8$ ..20$ more shipping supposed to do 56 w..another 150$ for 30 sinks..

if i ever find holders for the nichia j130b's[haaalp] i plan on running at slightly under 40w using

Some customers feedback KB-D82-90RF is not suitable for the holder 50-2303CR, so we have revise the mould(grind the bottom flat), new reflectors is available now.

We will begin to supply pre-drilled pin fins heat sink in 10days, they are in the drilling now. The dimension available as below:

3. Thermal tape:
Thermal tape 35*35mm, thickness 0.5mm, 3W/MK is available, they will be provided for free.

Silicone lens for CXB3590 will be available at June.10, we only design 90degree this time, if no problem, we will also make 120degree.

5. BJB holder for 3070:
BJB holder for CXB3070 is enough in stock, unit price is $1.0usd/pcs。

6. MW driver:
HLG-185H-C: Enough in stock
