c02 boost

Anyone used this stuff. I was 1/2 tempted to buy it from the hydro shop. The guy at the shop says he can get 1100 ppm carbon dioxide in a large room with it. Has anyone truly gauged it? He said it was the same thing as a mushroom something or another. I'm looking for an impartial assessment of it. Thanks.

No it's just c02
Yeah, i'm really curious if this works or not... I might just get it.. It last 190 days and its just c02, right? so why not... I have a closet grow going at a buds place and i'm not sure if this would be overkill......

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It may last for up to 90 days max (not 190) if it is ran on a timer, running 18/6 with your light schedule.

Supposedly its efficient for distributing more c02 in small/closed environments, but it doesn't necessarily increase your c02 PPMs.

I'm interested in getting one myself to see if it works. I have a 2" x 3" x 5" size growbox, growing with a scrog and under a 250w lamp. Trying c02 would definitely be my next step in increasing efficiency!

More uninformed opinions from RIU. Thank you for steering this guy away froma product with zero first hand knowledge not to mention that your claim that the Co2 Boost doesnt boost ppms but in the website I quoted above it clearly states that in a small grow area it will boost ppms up to 1100.

Where does is it state that it boosts ppms up to 1100? Their website also states that the product is "not meant to increase PPM" as follows:

"Co2Boost isn’t made or built to sustain ppms (parts per million)... Co2Boost IS made to distribute all-natural Co2 directly to your indoor garden. Through extensive testing we have found that DIRECT co2 distribution is extremely beneficial to plant growth and health. Therefore our product is unique in the fact that it doesn’t work by raising ppm levels, it works by distributing Co2 directly to your plants... Co2Boost is made for any room size, because we work on a “plant-by-plant” basis as opposed to measuring ppm levels."

You silly sally.

2. How much Co2 is coming out of the bucket?

Each bucket is a living organism so there is no definitive answer to this question. Depending on your ppm monitor our buckets have read anywhere from 3000-5000 ppms of consistent co2 flow upon activation. However, as stated in question one, our product is not meant to be measured in ppms, it’s meant to be distributed directly to your plants and measured by the improved health and quality of your garden.

And this is question 2. The mixture coming out of the bucket measures at 3-5k ppm which very obviously boosts ppms. Normal air + co2 enriched air = boosted ppms. There is no way for a set mixture to give an accurate ppm because a slight breeze will change it let alone a grower that doesnt know how to manage a vent cycle. I am done with this thread so YOU WIN!!!!!!! +rep

How long should I run a CO2 Boost Bucket if I am growing about 6 plants in a 2.5'x2.5'x5' area. Should I run it on HI or LO setting. And for how long. I just don't want them to reach too high a level for my plants. Someone please help me out. A SIMPLE answer would be nice.
