C02 tank whats the deal????

I have been using c02 for less then 1 grow cycle and never had a prob til now, i went and exchanged my tank at the hydronstore and came back hook up my regulator and it starts leaking. So i put sum teflon tape on and hook it back up and still leaks so i put on the o ring that comes with it and hook it back up and it stops leaking. But now when it kicked on. It got like frosted over and there is like white stuff in where the float is.
Any ideas??

You're flow setting is too high, so it's freezing over. You should set your regulator at the 5 mark.

FYI, if u get in touch with a welding supply co. they will hook you up with a 50lb tank for only a little more than ur paying for your 20lb'r. they will probly even deliver the larger one to you.

Really?? I kno of 2 welding places in town i went there to refill my 20 and they said itll cost me 32 bones go to hydro and they only charge 10.
But it sounds like sumthig i will look into.
Because 50lb sure would last me a week and a half instead of the 20 lasting 3-4 days amd they hydro shop is constantly running out.

If you have the money and your room can stand a little more heat or you can control the heat you should go with a natural gas co2 burner. There definitely worth it, atleast in my opinion.

Well, he was paying 24$ for a 20lb refill + had to drive 20 minutes each way to get it. now its 35 for a 50lb tank + a 12 delivery charge.. no driving, and longer duration between fillups... win/win. course ur charges may vary by location an all that...
