Hi everyone i could really use some information and or suggestions, I am starting a cabinet grow as u can see from the pictures using two 400 watt mh and hps lights. Heating is vented out the back side of the cabinet the cabinets dimensions are 47Lx19Wx42h the height between the top of the lid and the hood is exactly 29.5 inches i picked these containers for there size for i was worried about not enough room and length for the root system. If i can use a smaller container to diminish root space to add for plant height please tell me which container is more suistable. I am hoping to have 6 plants per a container using the bubbler method using 5 inch net pots. I was wondering if there is enough room in there to grow more then the 12 plants that i plan to grow in there. As you can see the top half is a clone nursery which i will be using twp high output florecents 2 ft tubes for. Also how much room in height do marijuana plants need for hydroponics before they become root bound and stunt growth. All and every help is appreciated

First of all, whenever anyone sees that cabinet they're going to think you're hiding Jesus in there. That shit will have like spotlight strength light coming out of the cracks. Not to mention that the distance for a lamp to accomplish optimal lumen to surface area coverage ratio is 30 inches. That however has nothing to do with the fact that you have 1 issue that will fuck you over... you don't have any room for the plants to grow upward, unless you think they're going to be as tall as little toy soldiers... Point is, there is not enough vertical space bro... no where near enough. 1. Your plants will fry. 2. Your plants will be shocked, and fry. 3. Your plants will hate you, be shocked and then die

I figured out out how to hide the lights and have tested it for light cracks when it was completly sealed and it worked fine leaving no light exsposed. How do i not have enough height for a plant people grow plants that are 2 ft all the time not to mention. I was planning on keeping height to a minimum and prunning the tops many times and am going to get a smaller container about half that size to add another half foot for height growth. Also i have other methods to help me scrog and other methods to help keep plants short and max out yield.

... your intentions are hopeless, you'll figure that out in time

1. the temp in that cab will fuckin rape those plants
2. light poisoning turns plants hermie, that's IF they survive the direct and ambient hellish temps you'll expose them to (they won't)
3. way to grow, cuz this is the most dreamy plan i've ever heard
