Caccoon Buds and Rotting Buds

I had a very messed up plant that i used too much desert bat guano in. I just cut it yesterday because i noticed one of the buds was completely rotted and gooey. When further expected i noticed most my lower buds had been starting to be covered with a thick web or cocoon. I have a few flying nats but could i also have spider mites? My other plants werent as condensed as that plant and have not showed the same signs. What was the problem so that i dont have it again.

sounds like mites if it was anywhere near your other plants theres a 99.999999% chance that your others have them too and will be showing symptoms soon look for spotting on leaves if you see it turn the leave over u will likely see little white things which are eggs look even closer and u will see the little mites get a small stick or somthing and poke at them u will see them scurry. if u are indoors and u find that u have what i described u are screwed. on the other hand if u are outdoors and have a nice sticky plant and live where it gets foggy or wet at night u need to cover ur girls and get some fans blowing at them cuz that mold will only get worse

how do you get rid of spider mites during flowering? none of my other plants are showing symptoms like that and i can see no black spots or white spots underneath. Just orange and yellow which has been like that for a month and a half which i figured was from too much desert bat guano. I only should have about 2 more weeks till cutting i have already started flushing.

Could also be caterpillars, they eat right down the centre of the stalk and it rots from the inside. The webbing you described sounds a bit like caterpillar silk.

so yeah i cut the 2nd one now it has started happening to the 3rd, it only seems to happen when i take the infected one out. Basically the inner buds are turning black where it is real condensed in the cola. If this is spider mites will it end when they are all out, should i bomb it or what before i start my new ones

u have bud rot or sometimes called stem mold i get it every year starting around this time. like i said earlier you need to bring them inside somewhere where night time moisture wont get to them or cover with a clear plastic and get some fans blowing at them. what is happening is moisture is gettin inside your tight dense nugs and starts to mold inside out. u probably see some leaves starting to wilt and die and then when u look closer u see mold inside and its always worse on the inside than it looks from outside. be carefull when drying and get some air circulation withs fans or better yet dehumidifier cuz that mold will fuck shit up.

on my current grow which is partially finished due to early finishing strain and the mold we are talking about, i got that mold for the first time indoors. the only thing i could think was that i got water on the buds by accident or somthing. the weird thing is i was only getting it on one strain. they were really fat and sticky and full of water cuz they weighed close to 80% less when dried. the only thing i can suggest is dehumidifier and plenty air movement. are they all the same strain or are only a certain strain getting it?

Definately sounds like a caterpillar problem to me. Are they outdoors?

Like I said caterpillars eat right down the middle of the stem, shit out all the digested bud which starts to rot, meaning your buds rot from the inside.
