Cal Mag Problems or something else?

I think I see a few bite holes in a leaf. I say infestation and phosphorus deficiency, caused by lockout or lack of.

I noticed the bites in the leaves but have checked and cannot find any insects... I had a few fumi smoke bombs so let them off just in case.

I agree on the phosphorus, the pots are still sodden from the flush so haven't fed then anything since the 1/4 strength nutes I poured through on the final stage of my flush.

The leaves are all curling up at an alarming rate, I've stopped pulling them off now as there will be none left

I just hope the pots dry soon so I can start feeding them again.

It's definitely P deficiency. Are you running chem or organic? What is your current pH?

They are dying due to a defiency. You flushed? Add a little more P than the rest if you're going 1/4.

My ph in is 6.2 - and ph out is anything between 6.0 - 6.5...

I have Hesi Phospeous Plus which is a flowering nute, will this be ok to fix the def?

Oh and my normal nutes are chemical...

Yeah flushed on Wednesday so just waiting for them to dry out a bit before I water...

Can we see an updated pic of the entire plant?

The flush doesn't seem to have done anything I did expect to see some improvement by now but each day the leaves are worse... Brown spots and curling at the ends.

That's what I'm thinking too. I've never seen a nutrient deficient plant do that.

The lights are at least 50 cm away from the canopy with a 12 fan blowing across the bulb but I think your on to something...

I used a spider mite spray 20mins before lights off a few weeks back so think that maybe this effected the leaves and they've never recovered.

That will do it man. I won't even do a foliar or neem oil spray until lights out. That shit will CK your plants in 20 minutes ez. Spider Mite spray is usually pretty volatile stuff from what I've read.

Awesome visual.

You may have torched the leaves by spraying under lights ; but what you had here was a cal/mag deficiency now nicely fitted with a Nitrogen deficiency from flushing a plant that was already showing signs of being deficient. What"dirt" are you growing in? Does it have enough nutritional value"amended " for your plant? Is it de-void of nutrients? Feeding only nutrients in bland soil? Don't drop the Nitrogen down because you are in flower. Quit flushing and bring the nutrition back up and leave it be. Of course this is only MY opinion.

It's hard for me to say it's a nitrogen deficiency with those pics. HPS pics make everything look yellow. Plus everything always looks 10x worse than it is under that lighting. It looks like the newer growth around the top of the bud is unaffected. Return back to your normal feeding schedule before the light burn and clip those dead leaves.

Wind burn? Poss? u said ur fan points at top of canopy,if u have space try keep it below canopy & not at a fixed position, had same prob ,is it mostly up high? (Damage) also try molasos for cal/mag.
I've jst looked at ur pic's again m8 & it really does look like its wind burn jst movin ur fan below is no ££ spent to try fix it,u should get rid of damaged leaves & try see if that sorted it

Well many guess in this one.
It's heat damage along with foliar spray damage. This kind of plant doesn't seem to respond well to foliar feeding and should be avoided.
Don't try to over control the grow. You'll kill the plants that way.

The fan direction is no where near the plants so don't think this is the cause...

When I say the fan is running over the canopy, it basically blows across my bulbs with the slightest of air flow onto the plants creating a small movement across the canopy, if I was running a high speed fan directly across the canopy then I could understand but I really thinks it was the spider mite spray I used when lights were still on which had caused the issues.

I used the spray with 20 mins of light remaining as I saw spider mites , I turned the lights down to 600w and hoped it would be ok, but hind site is a fine thing

My lights on temp is 25 and the lights are approx 50cm from the tops so in my opinion it's the spider mite spray I used as opposed to any heat burn as they are just too far away to get burnt...

The leaves are crisping very quickly and I'm just hoping to reach 8 weeks to be honest.

I've put the feed back to where it should be at this stage so fingers crossed they will last the cause

If u really still suspect mite spray & I no u won't wanna really waste any more leaves but u could always recreate the situation on a leave same time,spray & rule it out if it does it again then that's ur prob! Looks like u still do hav lots of foilage stil left
